Lost a valve in an antique airplane and had to make an unscheduled stop in Lewisburg. I couldn't have lucked up on a better place. Extremely hospitable people, good fuel prices, very nice facilities, and amazing hospitality. Mr. Kent Stewmon, who didn't know me from Adam, jumped in and changed a cylinder for me after finding a rental car solution so I could make it to my business meeting several hundred miles away. Another shout out to Famous Rent A Car who hooked me up with a new Nissan to keep me going. You can't go wrong stopping at KLUG, even if you don't need A&P services like I did.

Stopped in for a fly-out dinner. (Just something to do for a bored pilot). This is a small country airport, but all the desired pilot amenities are in place, including a crew car. FBO is very comfortable and accessible after hrs. Several restaurant choices in a friendly town. We are happy to have found this location.
