Hold on to your wallet! I stopped to pick up passenger's they charged me $329 there was a $279 handling fee to scotch one wheel. $25 landing fee, $25 infrastructure fee. To top it off they weren't even friendly!!

At a recent overnight stop at STL with my Bonanza I received good service and support from the FBO staff, though nothing I would call exceptional. The FBO building is very nice. Fees are on the high side even by Class B airport standards; I was charged $25 for landing and $50 for overnight parking. Avgas was priced OK, and there's a 50-cent/gallon weekend discount. Handling ($49) was waived with my fuel purchase.

This is a follow up on my comments from a few weeks ago. The facility manager did follow up with me and told me that Signature had no corporate policy regarding compassion flights but that in the future he would ensure that such flights using STL would have such fees waived. I never heard back from Signature Corporate.

I arrived in STL on an Angel Flight. The lineman escorted my passenger into the terminal and I brought her baggage. After turning the minor passenger over to her guardian I was told the fee was $85! $25 for the landing fee, $55 "facility fee" and $5 for infrastructure. I asked whether any of those fees were waived for Angel Flights and was informed they were not. I asked to speak with the facility manager who did waive all but the city landing fee. I asked him to check corporate policy on Angel Flights and he told me he would get back to me by e-mail. So far I've heard nothing. I was under the impression that Signature corporate policy waived facility fees for compassion flights. I have e-mailed Signature about this but have not yet heard back. I don't mind reasonable fees but $55 to park a single engine piston for 15 minutes seems absurd.
