Fuel is now $4.06/gallon for 100LL. The office's air conditioning was a nice respite from the 100-degree heat on 6/28/09. Be warned; there are trees at both ends of the runway. On hot days with a heavy load, you'll want to ensure your short-field takeoff procedures are up to snuff.

I take my students here frequently for short-field practice. There are tall trees on both ends of the runway, and noise-abatement procedures to be followed. Transient pilots, be aware that transient parking is on the grass north of the taxiway. No tie down ropes. Bring your own chocks. Fuel is currently $5.00/gallon as of 6-21-08. The airport is quite convenient to downtown Sonoma and the entire wine country.

I've grown up around Skypark, and the airport and the people there are like a second family to me. The airport is much more active than nearby Schellville airport, and the facilities are much better in my opinion. We also have friendly airport managers, which is a plus. I recommend that all pilots not familiar with the airport call ahead and get the rundown on our Noise Abatement procedures, so that we can keep the neighbors happy!
