Galt is running a fuel special during January 2008. $3.99 a gallon starting at noon Friday until 5 pm Sundays. They also have put in some tie downs.

Very courteous and friendly staff - was there for a day and they had pulled my airplane into a hangar with the convective weather that was moving in. Good fuel prices, and overall, a great FBO facility.

Folks very friendly. They have only T hangers available, no tie downs. $30/night with fuel purchase.

I used to like this place a lot better when they at least made some attempt to compete at fuel pricing. They don't seem to bother anymore. Not much reason to stop by now.

As of 4 Jul 2006 the runway has been widened beyond 36 feet, it looks almost 50 feet to me but I did not have a tape measure. There is all new asphalt the entire length of runway 9/27 with all the taxiways repaved. Striping is supposed to happen on 7/8 July.

Flew in, in a King Air one morning and the people could not have been better. The lovely young woman working the desk made us a fresh batch of coffee and provided us with a cell phone charger. We then took the courtesy pickup into town for lunch. When we returned, we waited for our passengers very comfortably in the lounge with TV and magazines.

GALT - if I were near there that's where I'd take my business! On the way to Oshkosh last summer, my son and I ran into a really bad t-storm. I hit the NRST button and there was an airport almost directly under us - and it turned out to be Galt. Several other planes on their way to OSH did the same as I did! As soon as we all got our planes secured the storm hit. The owner/operator took everyone into town in his van so all could get dinner. They helped us figure out what the weather was doing and when we could be on our way. In the meantime, very comfortable lounge with TV and games (son and I played checkers) and a real nice kitchen (we ate food we had brought with us). I can't say enough about the friendliness of the folks we met there! Your aviation experience is sure to take a swing upward there!

The new taxiway is complete but be aware the windsock is very close to it and has not been moved yet. It is possible to clip it with your wing. Also there many workman still about the ariport. The staff at the airport are super friendly and the recent hires of two new mechanics have greatly enhanced the ability to get first class maintenance help. I had a vacuum pump failure recently and they were able to get right to it and get it repaired.

Flew into Galt today and found that a new taxiway has been completed for the full length of the runway. A rock band was setting up for a concert Saturday nite. The airport will be closed from 4pm on.
