I stopped there about a week ago to have maintenance done on my prop. I found the FBO to be rather nice. The staff was nice enough to let me borrow a car and get breakfast while waiting for my prop work.

Frequent visitor to Tiffin as we have airplane maintenance done there. Everyone is always very pleasant and helpful. FBO is very nice, with wireless Internet, TV, and all the area newspapers to help me pass the time.

I stopped here for an overnight and found the place locked up with no phone available and no cell phone bars, and worse, after 3.5 hours in air, no washrooms! There were no signs of a courtesy car that is mentioned in AOPA directory. We took off and found help at FDY Findlay 20 miles west.

Late night fuel stop en route from Washington DC to Kalamazoo, MI. Engine would not restart after fueling. A very nice employee in the factory next door called a cab at 2:30am and it was there in 5 minutes. Hotel was just a mile away but cab was appreciated since it was 20 deg outside. The next morning, after an easy walk from the hotel (complimentary hot breakfast), the line staff defrosted airplane and provided a jump-start at no charge. Fuel was average price, but the facilities were excellent, warm and inviting. Check out the propeller shop. Good tie downs too. Highly recommend this as a cross-country stop over point.

Great FBO, nice terminal building and airfield all together. Thanks Nevin for the use of the courtesy car to conduct some business in the beautiful town of Tiffin. Fuel is quite reasonable here and the small town service is second to none and makes many of the larger centre airports look like a joke. Highly recommended and looking forward to coming back.
