Great little public field. Self-serve fuel, free tiedown space, plus an open FBO with restrooms.

Got caught between thunderstorms and landed. Feel the only way I might have been treated better would have to have been the senior senator from WV.

Friday afternoon. Old FBO building open (so was restroom ~~ whew) no one home. Self Serve 100LL best price I've seen in months. Happy to throw 42 gallons in the girl. Local pilot sold me a Cincinnati sectional from the counter in the FBO. Parked two nights at tie-downs, no charge. With the displaced threshold on 04 of 850', really seems to make the runway short (2000'). They have a courtesy car available, but no idea how to get the keys if no one is attending FBO. Got family in Fairmont, so definitely will be back.
