We stopped at C40 for gas on our way to Boyne City; MI. John met us at the pump and filled up our 172. He is a most hospitable person and very friendly. Our daughters Hailey (4) and Heather (2) jumped out of the plane and proceeded to play with John's two grandsons. The facility there is dated but convenient and the public restroom is very clean. There is a comfortable sitting area as well. John does a fantastic job of maintaining the two grass strips - very smooth surfaces! Thanks for the friendliest service!
