I landed at Dixon at about noon on 6/12/09 with a $3/G AirNav form in my hand. Since the pump had no posted price I trusted the AirNav listing. After filling up found that the price was really $3.70/g. Too late too avoid being overcharged $31.28 for my top off. No one was inside to take my complaint. No one has answered my emails at AirNav, The airport, or the Mayor of the city of Dixon. When I left an ATC said they have heard other complaints. Sounds like a conspiracy to defraud pilots to me. I landed here yesterday afternoon for fuel on the way back to Iowa from Indiana, and this is a great place to stop. The self-serve pump worked as advertised, the runways are in great shape, and the terminal is clean. I would have gone to Sterling/Whiteside, but since I couldn't raise anyone on UNICOM there so I decided to fly five minutes further to Dixon. I was glad I did keep up the good work!

On the recommendation of another aircraft owner, I had my annual, plus some cosmetic work done to my 152. Anytime Mr. Brenneman found an issue, he would notify me about wether to fix it now or defer it, which is somethin I grately appreciated. I was very pleased with the quality of the work, and will take my plane back to him again.
