Stopped because of great fuel price. Larry met us at the pump, helped with card reader and fueling. Comfortable lounge with snacks available. Larry said restaurants and accommodations were available in town and crew vehicles were parked in front. His cell number is posted in case he is not at airport. Easy fast refueling stop. We were only second aircraft that day. Good experience here. We'll be back.

One of my favorite fuel stops and I often fly out of my way to stop here. This time however, the runway was covered with ice and snow and unusable, no NOTAM filed, grrr.

Stopped by coming and going from a X-C from Oregon to SW MO is small experimental the last svrl weeks...Fuel prices as advertised and easy to use. Unattended both times during normal business hrs but, hey, just a small farming community airport, no problem. The FBO office was fine, bathrooms etc however the ancient desktop was virtually unusable for wx updates as very very slow. Met other pilots on X-Cs too as K88 is apparently known for its very reasonable Mogas price. Good stop. I saw two monster turbine Ag planes operating there, quite impressive. There is a very small taxiway back (I think) from landing south but I choose to back taxi on runway with numerous announcements. Worked fine. Good stop and will use K88 again when in the area.

Great fuel prices, rustic facility. Home base for crop duster activity, Beware!!! I was about over the numbers on short final making radio calls as I watched one roll onto the runway and proceed to take off completely unaware I was about to land on top of him.

Stopped by from South Carolina to Colorado for fuel. I stop here every time I come through and once again it was a pleasant stop. Manager came out and helped this old man fill the plane. Can't compliment it enough. Thank you K88.

Bought all of 10.5 gals 100LL on Sunday evening. Failed hot start. Airport manager loans battery charger and courtesy vehicle overnight. Impeccable service and really low avgas and mogas price, neat, clean, and cool terminal. Has to be the best place to buy avgas in Kansas.

Always, a good experience there. I've stayed overnight twice and will pass through again in two days. The airport manager is always friendly, the fuel is very reasonable, nice airport vehicle to borrow and a quiet overnight stay in town.

I fueled with 26 gallons mogas in an RV9, O-320 engine. Upon takeoff the engine stumbled badly and I aborted the takeoff. I tested the fuel for ethanol but found none. The pump was labeled 91 octane. My engine is approved for 91 octane. I drained half the tanks and refueled with avgas. The engine operated properly after that. It was a hot day. The airport attendant helped me drain the tanks. It was a hot day, 90F.

Stopped at Allen (K88) for quick fuel up on July 19 and 21. Used the premium auto gas and had no problem with the gas. Ramp and pilot lounge very clean. Good facility! CC available. Steve Garrett

Stopped in for a fuel stop from an East Coast trip in a King Air. The airport is self serve, but someone came out to assist in filling the plane. Very helpful people. The ramp is in great shape and big. The self-serve pumps are basically in the middle of the ramp; easy to pull in and fill up. We got fuel and used one of the crew cars to run into town for a quick bite. Just left the plane at the pumps when we went into town. There are 2 sides to the pumps so we didn't have to move the plane to go in and eat. Good place for a fuel and stopover.
