A great place to stop for cheap fuel and a bathroom break. Airport manager Bill Cook is as friendly as can be, as are his two tiny dogs (one of whom carries around a pair of work gloves as big as he is). Easy in, easy out -- pick up your IFR clearance once airborne from Wilmington approach.

Stayed for five days over Thanksgiving holiday, what a shock! It's hard to believe airports like this still exist, fuel is cheap, no fees, excellent runway, FBO was very nice and comfortable, and the courtesy car policy cant be beat! If your anywhere near this airport, stop in.... You won't be disappointed.

Great little airport! Surprised to find the "honor system" in the refrigerator for beverages and snacks. Almost like stepping back to the barnstorming days of the past. Will stop again when in the area.

I highly recommend stopping at this airport for low priced fuel and great service. The Farmhouse restaurant is closed but we ate at Wild Boar. Bill loaned us a car and offered to dog sit for us while we went to lunch!

N2212R - Stopped in for fuel at KACZ on 5/1/08 and 5/2/08. Nice airport! Facilities were clean, self-fueling was easy, and the manager, Bill Cook, is a great guy. He is a wealth of knowledge and is willing to lend you a helping hand if you need it. His dog Toby even met us at the fuel pump to assist. :) I highly recommend this airport for anyone needing a quick, inexpensive fuel stop, as his prices are the lowest in the area.

I used this as a stop on the way to and from Georgia. What a great place to stop. Bill, the manager, couldn't have been more helpful. He made a reservation for me at the local Holiday Inn, made the courtesy car available for an overnight stay, assisted with refueling and helped tie down the airplane. He is very pilot friendly and knows how to make the place top notch. The facility is clean, well kept and a real pleasent place to take a break. Oh yeah, the fuel price is great as well. You won't find many places that are better nor many airport managers that are more helpful or friendly. I would also highly recommend a meal at the Farmhouse Restaurant, great food and service and only about 10 minutes from the airport! You are missing a great palce if you fly over ACZ without stopping in!

Excellent fuel stop; friendly service, clean/modern facilities, courtesy car, and cheap gas. We ate lunch at Bo's restaurant -- good food and all the John Deere memorabilia you can ask for. Thanks for the hospitality!

Stopped for fuel enroute to Florida. Great little airport. Met Bill the new manager. Very accomodating, friendly and pilot oriented. Self serve fuel prices are the best in the area. Plans are underway for computer weather and 24 hour access to the terminal building. Highly recommended.

One of the best fuel stops on the East Coast. Nice FBO, courtesy car has just been made available. Bill, the new airport manager is customer focused and always goes out of his way to help. If you are on the way to/from Florida, this is the place to stop for fuel.
