I flew into AGS on Oct 28 for an Angel Flight. They gave me a small fuel discount and said they didn't charge any landing fees for Angel Flts even if I took on no fuel.

Let's be clear - new "fees" - no more business. This isn't the only airport in the game. You lose.

After reading several articles about the landing fee increases here I will be buying my Jet A somewhere else, don't let them get away with it!!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience today in Augusta. The folks are very friendly. It was my wife's first trip me since I got my license. We flew down from LZU to have lunch at T's Restaurant. We were provided with a courtesy car and had a great lunch.

Higher than forecast headwinds (47knt hdwd component) forced a fuel stop at AGS, folks couldn't have been nicer, from the appch control, tower, FBO, and fuel was "bargain" @ $4.25 full service. FBO was clean, friendly folks...I'll be back.

They do a great job for Master's week. It is a tough week for the FBO to take on such a task, yet you have someone leaving a comment about being charged a fee for stopping in. He must think the FBO operates free of charge and all the employee's running around work for free as well. Mr. McKeithan should have planned his trip a little better. I wonder if he work's for free?

Great facility and friendly staff. Stopped in to eat at Sconyers, a great BBQ restaurant about 5 mins away. Even though we were in the smallest plane on the ramp (Beech Sundowner) they treated us great. Used the crew car to go eat: no problems. Fuel was not ready when we got back but they jumped on it. Ramp fee waived because I bought fuel. I would not go here for gas but it is a good stop with good people. Will definitely come back.

Stopped here twice on way to and from FL 12/7/07 & 12/11/07 in a Piper 140. Fuel was reasonable $4.74gal (I paid more on this 1000nm trip) Approach Tower /Linemen/girl at the desk were very helpful, fueled promptly, good service. Got the same service as all the jets on the ramp. Stayed at Holiday Inn/Gordon Hwy (nice) $90 per night. Would stop here again, FBO was clean, nice folks.

The airport is in good condition and lots of room on the ramp. Landed on a windy day but the linesman parked us with the strong wind hitting our tail. I asked him to turn us around since our engines have a hard time starting when the wind is hitting us from behind. He did so right away. The FBO is nice but fuel is mighty expensive and the crew cars are not very clean. The crew lounge does not have enough places to sit, but there is a nice sleeping room. I would not recommend this FBO for a fuel stop, but if you must go to AGS then this FBO does the job.

I stopped in last night for 2 hours and they charged me and my little single engine plane a $40.00 ramp fee......Even with taking on fuel! They blamed it on the Master's Golf weekend......I won't be back. Scalping is scalping regardless of the reason.
