First flight over to KASD in a few months, after seeing the newspaper article on the re-pave a month ago...WELL DONE!! That runway is SO smooth and clean now, good job on making that happen!

Stopped in July 2, 2009. First class service. Angela had the rental car cooled off and by the pumps when we taxied up. We topped off the bird and she said they would go and tie it down did a few initials on rental contract and we were gone to enjoy our day. Thanks again for great service.

Just popped in from Hattiesburg to buy some lottery tickets. The girl at the desk was more than happy to take me up the road to the store, and back. Great looking FBO.... N1089U is looking forward to returning.

We based our flight operations (aerial mapping) out of Slidell for a few weeks in Jan. 2009 and Tommy and Michael at the FBO were very helpful. FBO building is new and comfortable.

The folks at Slidell Aviation are fantastic. The FBO facility is very modern. They have two computers for weather/internet access and a very nice lounge area. Tommy the manager is very helpful and also makes a terrific gumbo. I highly recommend a visit to Slidell Aviation!

Based nearby, and with family in Slidell, I drop in KASD often...Sometimes for minutes and sometimes for days. Last visit: a few days during Christmas 2008. We have always enjoyed the experience! Laid-back but well-maintained outside (only could use some more tiedown ropes), easy-access fuel pump, and the new FBO facility is really first-class with friendly staff and excellent computer stations! Also at an ideal location just outside of the city, only a few miles from beaucoup shopping/restaurant destinations. Thanks, and will see y'all again soon!

Very nice facility. Great fuel prices. They let me use their personal car to go get breakfast (THANK YOU). They went out of their way to locate a pressure regulator to fill a low tire with nitrogen. Did not make any ground transportation arrangements for my pax due to last minute trip, and they got a taxi there fairly quick. FYI 24 hour Jet A self-service pump is for single point only. They will let u pump it yourself from truck for SS rate. I appreciated your help. Chuck Swan N444WD

NO COURTESY CAR. A courtesy car is advertised on AirNav. Please update your information so people like myself won't plan a stop to get fuel and food.... after we bought fuel at KASD we were disappointed to find no car available to go find something to eat. Otherwise, the fuel price is low and the FBO has good internet access.

Maria, Our apology about the courtesy car. We use to have one that was destroyed in a fire and it was our oversight that we did not remove it from the listing. However usually I allow customers to use my vehicle when they purchase fuel but due to a recent accident that vehicle was in the shop and unavailable.

Stopped in Feb 19th and they had the self-serve pumps operational. Also found they had added 2 computers to check weather and file flight plan. Nice new FBO with clean restrooms & decent fuel prices. Thanks Tommy

Staff was unfriendly and even rude at times. They did not seem like they wanted my business and made it seem like it was a hassle to fuel up my airplane after it had been sitting on their ramp for 3 days. I should have taken the short hop to St. Tammany for self-serve fuel, and I do not recommend visiting this FBO unless necessary. The only good thing was the nice facilities in the pilot's lounge/waiting area.

Mr. Castaneda, you showed up 3 days prior to your departure. You asked about hours of operation when you arrived and were told the hours. You showed up 3 days later at closing time and wanted 10 gallons of fuel. Which resulted in the fuel farm having to be reopened just for you. Had you called earlier or come in earlier then perhaps things may have gone smoother for you. Perhaps after you have been in aviation a few more years you will understand that you get treated with the respect you show others.

Landed around 9pm, the FBO stayed for me so that I could get my rental car. Trailers still outweigh useable buildings here. While the FBO was primitive, service was top notch. Came back on a Sunday at 5:30 the FBO was closed, I was disappointed that I did not get to buy gas from them, had to take a short hop to Picayune, MS to get gas. Given the outstanding attitude, I give this FBO OVERALL GRADE: A
