The bad news: they no longer loan out the courtesy cars overnight. The good: they'll chauffeur you to the motel, and back in the morning. Still a good overnight stop.

Stopped here for fuel and got the usual friendly and efficient service. This is a great place to stop!

I didn't need fuel, but I still received outstanding service, including tie-down and transportation to/from the air show at Altus Air Force Base. The staff was one of the friendliest I've found anywhere.

I had a most pleasurable visit to Altus and the Quartz Mountain Regional Airport today. The airport is impeccably clean, neat and manicured. The staff and management are extraordinarily competent and friendly. Facilities are second to none, nice G/A terminal with a well-complemented pilots lounge, clean restrooms and courtesy car. I recommend Altus as a destination or a "quick-turn", time saving cross-country fuel stop. Full service fuel at self-serve prices!

I landed my T-34 at Altus to stay overnight. Due to the POSSIBILITY of bad weather, they were towing my plane to a hangar before I could take more than 5 steps away from it. Greg Camp, the Airport Director is outstanding. He has great local flying knowledge and loves aviation. He sets a great example for the FBO employees (who are second to none). Altus - Quartz Mountain is a great place to fly to!!!!

Very nice Pilots room. The State Inmates that work there were very friendly. Might be a problem "liability" for the Inmates refueling aircraft, but seem to know what they were doing. Fuel prices competitive.

Great place to stop. The staff was great, and the fuel was as low as anywhere on our trip.

Greg Camp and his staff provide exceptional service and very low fuel pricing. Flight planning room has excellent weather computer screens. We will definitely add this to our list of good cross-country stops.

Excellent fuel stop. Rick was efficient and very helpful. Topped me off and the charge is the best I've seen for awhile. I've always found Altus a pleasant spot and this is the first time I've flown in. The airport is as nice as the rest of the area. Add to that the good price on fuel, and I'll be back by much more often.

Great place to stop! I arrived about 20:00 Saturday evening; Douglas Winters and crew parked me, fueled me, helped me find a motel, and loaned me a courtesy car full of gas. Nice facility too.

Excellent, prompt, and efficient service. We're met at the plane and were tied down before we even had our bags unloaded. Adjacent Air Force base is no factor on weekends and they have approach control during the week. Very simple stop.

Greg Camp (Airport Director) and his crew did a great job this past weekend providing a free shuttle service to and from the Altus Air Force Base Air Show. He even had cold water waiting for us in the van when he picked us up in the 104-degree temperatures. Thanks again, and I look forward to stopping by again!

I was very impressed with Greg Camp and the courtesies extended by him and his staff. They are very accommodating and provide the services offered by the larger FBO's. That, coupled with the fact their fuel prices were some of the lowest, will make them a stop for me when traveling west from my home field at ELD.
