I flew into KAXS from KC over the weekend and found an extremely courteous and helpful staff at the airport. A storm rolled into Altus one night and the staff there pulled my plane into the hangar to get it out of the weather. When I arrived to leave a few days later, they had pulled my plane back into the hangar. I was shocked to find no cost associated with this great service and the best price on 100LL (full service at that) anywhere I've seen in the Midwest. Definitely will be visiting again. Great job KAXS!
