Five Star Jet Center rolled out the red carpet to me today (in the 182). My passengers and I arrived in the morning and when they come back at 5:00, I'll be rested and happy. The accommodations and service are all first rate. The service is excellent, genuine and very friendly. I'll definitely return to Five Star!

Stopped by with two first time GA passengers. We were treated to fast, courteous service and lunch. Joe told me there were three ahead of me for fuel, but he quickly took care of all of us. Beth offered us lunch. She grills a great hot dog and burger! Wonderful place to stop for great prices and service.

Flew into BAF and went to Five Star on the 26th - was warmly greeted at the airplane by Jim, who promptly offered us a burger. The hospitality and warmth displayed by Five Star is truly five star, and there's no doubt I'll be back for a few more X-C's!

This is my third trip in. Prices are still the best in the area. I did not get my burger. Guess I should have called ahead. Service doesn't get any better even for 23 gallons 100LL

Very Nice! Don't let the name scare you off. They were very helpful, friendly and efficient for my C-172 and me. Great experience...They even grilled me a burger. I would absolutely recommend stopping in next time you're in the area. Great fuel price!

Family was out leaf peeping Sunday 10/21. Stopped in for fuel. Remarkable service, lineman waiting for us as we left the runway, parked us right next to the FBO and fueled the plane immediately. When they say best fuel prices on the airport (sign on the FBO) they mean the state! The pilot lounge and FBO are great. We will return soon!

Once again...Great service! We called Five Star 100 miles out and said we were hungry. When we got on the ground the table was set for us with two burgers.

Flew in here again on Tuesday the 9th with my father-in-law and Pat was waiting for us outside. The same unbelievable treatment. Incredibly friendly folks and they even offered me a piece of one of the line guy's birthday cake. He hadn't even blown out the candles yet. Fuel was insanely cheap, like last time, and they were quick and professional. Make sure you don't accidentally stop at the wrong FBO. Head for the giant FIVE STAR sign on the building. "Welcome back, should we light the grill?" were the first words out of Pat's mouth when we got out of the plane.

The best place to go...Always great service with low fuel prices. The line guys are great and 10 times better than those other guys across the way. Always go to Five Star!

Great fuel stop. Prices can't be beat. If you are on the way to AOPA Expo, this should be your planned fuel stop. Complimentary dogs & burgers on the grill too. Heck, they even have a popcorn machine. Say HI to Joe at Five Star, the friendly fuel guy. You might mistake Joe for another employee, because they are all so friendly. Anyhow, Joe is looking for a reasonably priced Cessna 150 to share with his son, so if you know of a bargain, let him know.

Flew into KBAF for the first time after reading the positive comments here on AirNav. Five Star was absolutely tremendous in both their fuel price ($3.60/gal 100LL!) and their hospitality. Hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill immediately after we landed and plenty of friendly personnel made for a wonderful day. Follow the blue shirts to Five Star and ignore the yellow shirts at the FBO next door that tries to "steal" incoming aircraft. Thank you to Five Star for the royal treatment.

Great airport, lots of runway. Beautiful area to stop. Not to mention the great service and fuel prices. My father and I flew from New Bern, NC to Barnes, Then up to Lincoln ME. We flew in 2 C-182's so the low fuel prices and lunch were greatly appreciated. Thanks to the FBO and line men.

Great experience at 5 Star! Linemen were there in a flash to fuel the plane and asked us if we were hungry before we got out of the plane (it was 12:01pm!). Called in on the radio to "get the grill fired up"! We were having a burger and dog within minutes and relaxed on the deck for a short while before continuing on. Awesome service, great guys, can't say enough about the airport and this FBO...."Five Star" is right!

These guys are unbelievable! I've never had a more positive experience, and w/ my work, I hit a lot of FBOs. Upon arrival without even noticing it, they pulled the courtesy car up behind my plane, had it running w/ the AC on, and put my bags in it for me. They were topping the tanks in the plane before I even put the car in drive.. I put $20 worth of gas in the courtesy car (that I had for 4 hours) before returning it and they tried to pay me back for it!! I've never even heard of that! They offered to "make me burgers or something" if I was hungry. On top of that, they have the cheapest Avgas I've bought this year. Can't say enough good about these guys. Everybody should drop in here; you have to see it to believe it! Any time I fly within 30 miles of this place, I'm stopping there.

I had to write this to let everyone know. This FBO is bringing back the way aviation used to be. I flew into Five Star Jet Center on Sat on my way to the Cape Cod to visit friends. I was greeted by good line service and great fuel prices (considering the prices of the surrounding airports). Here’s the kicker. After I paid for my fuel one of the line guys offered to cook me lunch. I guess this is something they do everyday and for anyone that stops by. I couldn’t believe it. In the future I will stop here on all my trips to and from the Cape Cod. I wish all FBO's treated us small general aviation pilots like this. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!!!!

Should be called Six Star Jet Center. This place was great, quick to answer on the radio, line personnel met aircraft guided in and chocked aircraft. Went in twice in one day while flying from NH to NJ and back for their $3.90/gallon 100LL (7/23/07) can’t beat the price or the service. Nice, Friendly, Professional FBO.

I have flown into KBAF and Five Star Jet Center several times in the last month in my Skylane. Great FBO and excellent service, not to mention they have really low fuel prices. We need more FBO's like this....

Great airport. ILS and all the amenities of a big airport without the traffic and hassle. Call ahead and they will arrange for a rental car to meet you on the ramp. Friendly, helpful line and office staff. The Massachusetts Turnpike and I-91 are close by, so the airport is easily accessible.

Flew into Barnes unexpectedly when I found out en route that my passengers had a car waiting there instead of Bradford as I originally expected. The FBO service was excellent! No issues at all with dropping in unexpectedly, they asked if I needed to use the courtesy car, or if there was anything else I needed; pointed me in the direction of a restaurant on the field so I could get lunch for my passengers, then when I didn't have enough cash to pay for the lunch (the Flight Deck didn't take credit cards) the line man paid $10 out of his pocket and said not to worry about it. I say again, Excellent Service! This FBO will be building a large new facility soon with a large hangar capable of supporting mid to large size business jet aircraft. I will definitely return to this FBO when I am back to Barnes!
