Had the pleasure of flying here a couple of weeks ago. I was completely surprised to find this little jewel of an airport. Fuel prices were as good as it gets the service was great. The FBO had everything you need... Thanks again guys

As good as they come. We visit frequently and are always greeted with a smile at the FBO. Great fuel prices as well.

Made two stops at Brady in the last four days going to Phoenix and back. Fuel price was exactly as guaranteed and line service fast and correct (this is one of a few FBO's that know MU-2's). The old City of Brady police car is still going strong and can find its way to the Lone Star even though it has been renamed the Hard Eight. The food is still great and alone justifies a stop. It's nice to see old time GA is still alive and well in the Texas hill country. The only downside was that we didn't have time to make another food run on the trip home.

Grass strip very well-maintained.

Stopped in to gas up the 170. It was my first time to the airfield. Very nice folks with good gas prices and a good runway.

I purchased fuel on May 27, 2006 and the attendant tried to charge me for 51 gallons. My aircraft only holds 48 and I had 12 gallons on board. The pricing is very good ($3.04 per gallon but their meter is very inaccurate). I complained to the manager and he only charged me for 36 gallons. Better watch out!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Full service fuel from truck at no extra charge. Crew car (old police cruiser) available on first-come basis. Lone Star Barbeque is renamed "Hard 8 Barbeque". Head south on road outside airport, then "directly around" town square, then and south 1 mile. Great meat and sides. Recommended.
