I stopped in for some dual instruction in MSA's C182RG, a clean, nicely equipped machine with Garmin 430 and HSI. Though very busy at the height of the season Sandy was able to work me into the schedule for a very enjoyable flight. Anyone visiting the midcoast area that wishes to see coastal Maine views from the air should consider this FBO.

We based here from May 2 through May 5, 2007. What a wonderful small airport. An added bonus is the beauty of the area. Sandy runs a top notch FBO and flight school with lots of honor system snacks in the FBO. 5 stars.

Picked up an Angel Flight patient today, 9/25/05. at BST. Can't comment on the price of fuel as there was noone at the tiny hut that is the FBO to sell fuel. The sign on the door says "Sunday - by appointment". Runway and ramp obviously were repaved recently. Despite by NACO charts and my co-pilots JEPPS showing a GPS 15 approach, my GPS database, maintained through Jepps Skybound Service, had no such approach. Instrument pilots, beware!!!!

Flew from KLEW to BST today and was surprised to see practically a whole new airport since my last visit. They have completely paved the runway and have created a whole new paved ramp area with more parking spaces . also moved the small FBO building from its old location to the new ramp area. Nice porch with table , chairs and umbrella . This is a very nice quiet friendly airport .
