I stopped in Boulder City Dec 8 partly due to the low fuel price there. I ended up at an FBO called Stars and Stripes since my Flight Guide indicated that location to be the only FBO on the field. It wasn't until a got home the next day and was updating fuel prices on AirNav that I realized that the FBO listed in AirNav, BFELLC, is not Stars and Stripes. I was charged 3.30/gal at Stars and Stripes for 100LL while BFELLC had it for 3.12. I'm not complaining because 3.30 is still a good price, and the service at Stars and Stripes was outstanding (Thanks, Sandi!). We got a fine recommendation on accommodations for the night, a short tour of the town with restaurants pointed out, and a drop-off and pick-up at the hotel. For some reason, AirNav doesn't list Stars and Stripes as an FBO, but if you try to update the fuel prices, Stars and Stripes comes up as one of the locations to update. Confusing...
