Bucking a fierce headwind, low on fuel, this was the only Unicom in the area that answered my call, and what looks like a little blip on the chart turned out to be super. Tracy--queen of all sweethearts--ran out, topped up both tanks while being almost knocked over by the wind (even though it was a self-service pump), then proceeded to haul my Warrior into a hangar (no charge) and lent me a courtesy car for two days (no charge) while I waited out the weather. Found a great Hampton Inn with a swell steakhouse right across the parking lot and had a very comfortable two nights. I gassed up the car before I left, though I wasn't asked to, and my total airport charge was the fuel bill. Terrific people at this airport!

Excellent stop! The headwinds on our return trip from Kansas forced an extra fuel stop. I had picked KCLK because it had a 24-hour card-operated pump listed and we were flying on Labor Day. To my surprise, the FBO answered on my first position call 10 miles out. The gentleman working the FBO came out as soon as we pulled up, chalked the plane and prepared to fill the tanks, even though it's set up as a self-pay. Even washed the windows, I hadn't even asked. Before we even got the kids out of the plane and off to the bathroom, he started 1 of the 2 courtesy cars and got the AC going before going into Clinton for lunch. The facility was nice and clean and the help exceptional! This one goes in the book with a big star! We'll be back!

I stopped here in the middle of the night for gas. The pump is right by the FBO, which is accessible after hours with clean restrooms and a weather computer. It's a nice stop with cheap fuel.

Stopped in Clinton on one of our many trips to Texas, as usual clean facilities and fuel at a great price, 24 hours a day. We will stop again. It is great to have access to this facility and staff, as always they are ready and willing to help. THANKS!

Day in and Day out great FBO for a fuel stop. I usually stop in once a month and they always provide me with great service.

Stopped in both on the way to Houston and on our return. GREAT FACILITY. Thank you for FBO, the GREAT prices, and the courtesy car access and as always the clean facility. If only the entire airport would follow your example. Will stop again. THANKS

Stopped June 25, 2007. Best fuel price between DRO and VNC. Weathered in overnight. Tracy got us hangar space at Great Plains Interiors. Truly courteous and excellent people. I will stop there again.

Tracy is the best! Stayed after-hours June 14 to get us settled in; let us park the RV in her own hangar to avoid a rainstorm, left her personal cell # in case we needed anything else. Best fuel price of the entire X/C from VA to WY. Nice courtesy car, great hotel recommendation... A pleasure to visit these folks at a friendly, quality FBO. No wonder my buddy "Smokey" (Shreck) came back again. Many thanks from the Boyd’s at 12VA.

Made a cross-country in an old Piper Pacer from Maine to Arizona and then Arizona to Virginia and Western Oklahoma was the best gas stop of the entire trip. Very friendly and helpful staff and one of the nicest FBO's I have seen.
