Excellent service. Above and beyond call of duty. Friendly, competent personnel.

Larry & Heidi are great! Excellent service and very reasonable fuel prices. Nice folks! Good pilot shop. If you are looking for a tie downs in CMA, be sure to ask them how much. I guarantee no one is better priced on the field! One of the best operations around anywhere.

I pulled into the big transient ramp and Western Cardinal delivered fuel to the plane. I was thirsty so the fueler brought me a drink gratis, really nice thing to do because I forgot to bring cash that day. Talk about a nice thing to do for a hot and thirsty pilot! They also have a nice pilot shop too.

My wife and I flew to Western Cardinal a couple weeks ago and were greeted by a cheerful, courteous staff! They obtained a rental car for us and made our hotel reservations! We could not have been more pleased with the service. I would highly recommend anyone flying to Camarillo to stop at Western Cardinal!

I have keeping my plane at Western Cardinal for a month now and can't believe the great service. Larry and Heidi are great people to deal with. Just ordinary honest people, willing to go the extra mile to make your day. I appreciate that. The line service guys are the best. Always asking if I need anything from fuel to offering any kind of help you wouldn't even think of asking other FBO's! If you want to feel like your getting the VIP treatment on a regular basis, I highly recommend these guys. Lastly, their shop has tons of items to browse for. Most times more selection than the catalogs I get in the mail. Thumbs up Western Cardinal!

Heidi and the folks at Western Cardinal have ALWAYS gone the extra mile for me. The pilot shop is probably the best in SoCal, and the other services are excellent.

Got reasonably priced fuel at the self serve, picked up a rental car and they were helpful... Nice pilot supply store, restrooms. Would definitely return.

Cardinal's self-serve pump is just off of taxiway Bravo and you don't have to taxi all the way to FBO. Gas is cheap but the airport is very busy; almost nullifies the money that you save on gas (if its a gas stop for you)! I was number 7 for departure!

I purchased an airplane from Western Cardinal and they made the transaction seemingly painless! We decided to stay an extra night and they did everything possible to accommodate our visit to Camarillo. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the FBO, the fully stocked flight supplies, knowledgeable staff right down to the pleasantness of the fuel truck operator. Thanks for everything, it's definitely a team effort!

Western Cardinal is a very good place -- inexpensive and very service oriented. Not only did they keep our plane in a tie-down for six days with no ramp fee whatsoever, but they also kept our luggage in a storeroom for a few days when we needed to make a side trip and could not take the extra weight on those legs. Very nice people too. The only drawback with CMA is that it is in a heavily agricultural area and your plane will get a certain amount of dirt on it, which unavoidably blows around, in the air. Very glad we chose Western Cardinal. We will be back.

I flew my Pulsar XP, N137GK, into KCMA for the first time Nov '06 to pick up my daughter. (Before departing, I called the FBO and was greeted by a friendly voice that gave me lots of time as I asked various questions.) I found a spot on their busy ramp and a fuel truck came by. The driver directed me to the FBO then carefully took care of the airplane. I discovered my daughter was at the wrong location on the airport. The agent inside was the same guy I talked to the previous day.... As he heard me talking with my daughter, he walked up and offered to take the phone. Then he said "Come on let's go get her." He drove me to where she was then back to the FBO, where they do have a great pilot supply store! I fly a big corporate jet for a living into every FBO out there, but never have I found such a welcome & helpful spirit as I did that day at Western Cardinal. Outstanding people. Will go back when flying into CMA personally or professionally and give them all the business I can.

We stopped for a three-day visit with our daughter. Line crew was quick and helpful. Our 172 were placed to avoid the jet blast from other aircraft. An excellent maintenance shop was referred to us when we needed a fuel drain valve repaired. Nice people. CMA's FAA Tower was another story. Caution!

Flew into KCMA a week ago for a 4 day visit with family and had a very nice experience with Western Cardinal. We parked in their spaces towards the East end of the ramp and Sherman the fuel truck driver showed up immediately to give us a ride to the office. We rented a car and were on our way in 5 min. They have the cheapest fuel on the field, a large pilot supply shop, and a nice pilot's lounge if you need to kill some time waiting for the weather. These guys don't make you feel like a 'little 172' among the Citations.

I've been based at CMA since it opened. I've found that Larry and Heidi always have the most courteous and helpful staff. Yesterday after fueling at the self serve island, I found myself stuck on the opposite end of the field from my ground transportation. No problem, the Western Cardinal fuel truck gave me a ride (over a mile) and on the way I got caught up on all the airport happenings while I was away. Good people.

Great gift/pilot supply shop and friendly folks. Self serve 100LL is always among the cheapest in the area. Fuel from the always roaming truck costs $.50/gallon extra but is the cheapest full serve fuel on the field--you can call them up even if you park at the restaurant in front of Channel Islands. Nice pre-flight area and rest rooms; you can take your FAA written here, too. Often overlooked by transient pilots because it's hidden away.
