Called 15 mins out, asked to drive rental car to plane with ac on that my pax was ill and going to mayo clinic and need fuel for quick turn. When we taxied in (NO CAR-OR FUEL TRUCK) had to give instructions to line again!

Whoa! I am glad I didn't read these comments before going to Craig! Actually this was a good thing because I had no bias going in to Craig and frankly used Craig Air Center because it was the closest exit off the runway 14. Our Maule was met promptly by a friendly lineman who quickly chocked the AC. I told him we would not need fuel. I then walked inside and talked with 2 nice young ladies while waiting to leave out again on a quick turn around. Passengers arrived shortly (10 minutes) and we were ready to head back to Georgia. I offered to pay a ramp fee but was told (with a smile) that under these circumstances I would not be charged and thanked me for dropping in. The people here are nice and this was a pleasant experience for my passengers and me. We would not hesitate to use Craig Air Center again. ATC was professional and got us in and out VFR promptly like we wanted...

Landed at CRG, taxied to Craig Air where if you park there for 10 seconds you will get the facility fee of $20.00 for single engine even if you use the self service which is located near runway 5. There is also an overnight fee of 18.00. Both the facility and overnight is waived if you use full service fuel. When I returned they forgot to fuel airplane and there were too many people with nothing to do. Also ATC is the worst in the world. As general aviation declines this airport will be the first to go and ATC will be cutting your lawn.

I recently flew my Bonanza into Craig field for the night and utilized Craig Air Center. The line crew were all in their twenties, but very professional and friendly. We had a problem with the self-serve pump and they immediately suggested allowing them to pump it from the truck but charge me the self serve rate. We pulled up right in front just like the big guys and they had the plane waiting for us in front the next morning. When stopping for fuel or overnight I definitely recommend Craig Air Center

We came to Craig to drop someone off for the night. We went to Craig Air Center, parked and let him out. We had the engine shut down for maybe 2 minutes AT MOST. The wheels were never chocked. We started up and called for our clearance out. ATC told us they needed us inside the FBO. We shut down again and I ran in. I was told there was a $20 fee for use of their ramp or I could buy at least 10 gallons of fuel at 5.60 a gallon. When I protested saying we never came inside or used their facilities, we were told that they would just put a lean on our plane. What garbage.... I offered to pay a pro-rated rate, because it was beyond ridiculous to pay $20 bucks for the 3 minutes we were there. (That works out to $400 an hour parking.) I will NEVER use this FBO, and I recommend everyone stay away.
Response from Morgan Miller, General Manager, Craig Air Center We at Craig Air Center strive to provide the highest level of service possible to all of our clients. Please accept our apology for the misunderstanding. For clarity, be assured that there is no desire to place a lien on your or any other aircraft for a non-payment of a ramp fee. Also, from time to time we understand there are situations where a ramp fee waiver is appropriate. Certainly respectfully explaining your situation to staff should have resulted in that waiver. The pilot making the lien comment was speaking in humor. Again, we regret the misunderstanding and do hope to see you again. Please be sure to ask for the General Manager (Morgan Miller) the next time you come in.

On Friday 2/15/2008 had Dr. appt at Mayo Clinic in Jax, went to Craig Air Center. Greeted nicely by line person, went inside, asked Tina And Tiffany for courtesy car to go to Mayo. Were very accommodating and I got back about 90 min later. Plane was fueled and ready to go. Mind you I was flying a C-152 and only took 8.4 gal fuel. I was only charged $44.86 for fuel. What a great FBO and I highly recommend them to anyone flying into Craig. Thanks so much Guys, My illness has put me out of work since Oct 2007.

Craig Air Center gives excellent service in all respects. The ramp charge is more than made up for by the very favorable rate that they arranged for us at a local hotel. Thanks. We will be back.

Arrived at CRG on 12/10/07. Counter service was good, free wi-fi and rental cars present if needed. Tie downs are $18 per night for single piston with 2 nights waived for fuel purchase. My only complaints are one of the vending machines took my money, but the counter girl promptly refunded the amount, so good service there. However my biggest complaint is the $25 facility fee. The facility fee is waived if you buy gas at least 20 gallons from their full service. For me I took on 24 gallons so it was a wash. I think that is a bit steep, not even Key West or Marathon ($10) charges that much for a facility fee. Overall it’s a nice airport to fly into, but its rather expensive if you spend any length of time there.

WARNING! Craig Air Center now charges a $25 (for piston, higher for other types) "Facility Fee" that is NOT PUBLISHED at their web site, AOPA, or AirNav.

I stopped in at Craig Air on my way back from Sun n Fun. Great service, reasonable fuel, use of the crew car for lunch, and nice facilities. I was going to write this positive comment on AirNav, but they beat me to it. A Thank You note from Craig was waiting in my mailbox when I got home - how's that for a FBO?

Had business in Jacksonville and used Craig Air Center. Filled up at the self-serve (approach end of rwy 5) then taxied around to the FBO. Outstanding ramp services, FBO operation and pilot center. Noticed a broken safety wire during my preflight and a mechanic fixed it immediately free of charge. Good gas price, fabulous service and friendly folks. Make this your stop when you're in Jax.

I cannot say enough good things about the folks at Craig Air Center. I arrived on a Sunday morning for an Angel Flight and had a flat nose tire on roll out. The folks at Craig came and towed the plane back to the FBO and after being unable to locate a mechanic they towed the plane into the hangar and allowed me to fix the tube myself. Even drove me to a autoparts place to get a tube patch kit. Great service and fantastic personnel.

Flew in from Athens for the "Worlds Largest Outdoors Cocktail Party". Excellent service. I showed up without a reservation and hadn't arranged for a rental car. They took care of it. My team played poorly, almost pulled it out at the end, but ultimately lost the game. Got back to the airport at 8:30, family ate hamburgers in the pilot lounge while I filed the flight plan. Had a rough mag on the run-up, and couldn't get rid of it, so taxied back to the FBO. Office crew stayed late to call in a mechanic, make sure a rental car/hotel reservation would be available if I needed it, and called in a mechanic. The mechanic cleaned the plugs and I was in the air by 12:30 a.m. Friendly, helpful staff, competent technical assistance, and reasonable prices. How could they improve?

Popped into JAX all the way from SSI and 7 gallons filled my plane. I couldn't have gotten better service and courtesy if it had held 700 gallons. Came back after closing, and they made sure I could get to my plane. Great service, great folks.

Just paid $5.54 per gallon for aviation fuel for my archer. Unbelievable! How do they expect repeat visitors there?
Response from Travis Bryan, Craig Air Center In response to Mr. Duyal's comments, Craig Air Center's fuel price is as follows: $4.41 for avgas, $4.36 for jet, and $3.99 for self serve avgas. You seem to have visited our competitors across the field. We would love to have you give us a try the next time you are in town. Hope to see you soon. Thank you. Travis Bryan CAC line dept.
