Flew in this afternoon on a cross country from Laporte. Met immediately by friendly and courteous line staff. Filled me immediately. Front desk very courteous. Provided me with courtesy car and directions to eat. Also volunteered the weekend gas discount. I'll be back.

Yes fuel prices are high, but thanks to reading these comments, I knew to ask for the $0.50 weekend discount. Personnel first rate, both line and desk. Line guy called my cell, said "weather coming in, I can pull you into a hangar if you'd like, no charge" Very helpful with bags, fueling on non arrival/dept day (weekend discount), rental car, gate, and coloring books for kids. Facility loses points due to lack of Internet computer, but said new one coming 1 week, let me behind their desk to file on duats, WSI terminal functional. No charts/plates but sent a line guy to Atlantic (competitor on field) to get one for me. Overall, very positive experience.

Why is fuel in Corpus double that in other places nearby? Way higher than SAT, HRL, HOU....... Even with all the refineries nearby. . . .What is this doing to our aviation community here in Corpus!

Flew to CRP for a swim meet needed to stay approximately 5 hours. Steve met me at the airplane (PA28) and had a loaner ready (called ahead). Fuel was 50 cent off a gallon for the weekend. Planning area was good. Bathrooms were OK. Snack room OK. Very good experience.

Tied my Baron down overnight $15 which is reasonable. Did not buy fuel but the personnel and facility are first rate. Work hard to get you tranportation or hotel.

Unfair comments about Signature. New management has changed things drastically. Yes in the past there was issues, now the service and friendliness have been stellar.

Not really a fair comment about the Navy contract for Signature. The government pays at the government rate, which is prearranged and much, much lower profit than servicing a private aircraft. Signature has a nice lounge, good chart and planning room with Internet, and I've always had friendly and prompt service.

It is easy to understand Signature's poor service: they have a government contract with the local Naval Air Station & they could care less to service visiting pilots.

Asked to fuel by 0900 the next day. Arrived for departure and plane not serviced. Could not get through gate, even though, they said someone was on the way. Very poor service. Will go to the other FBO next time.

I sent a student on a x/country to CRP and he ended up at Signature where they charged him $25 for 10 minutes worth of parking. Mercury is MUCH better.

Nice folks, but the $23.00 ramp fee for a Mooney is nuts and the gas price is sky high compared to other airports nearby.
