Flew in the first time 1/31/08. Landed Rwy 8 which was OK. Took off Rwy 26. Very rough so I put 10 degrees of flap and did a short field takeoff.

Hey Frank! Either the runway was re-paved or my technique is better. :) Its in good shape now. Customs was quick and efficient, although it was our misfortune to arrive right at shift change, which took a few minutes.

Runway 26 is, bluntly, hazardous! I was told after landing that the day before, at least one aircraft lost control and left the runway. If you have to use 26, use the extreme sides of the surface for takeoff and landing, if you can. If you have a long takeoff roll, 8 isn't any better. Food at the local cafe is exceptional. Helps to calm down after the landing!
