From David Dahlberg on 23-May-2009: What a fantastic experience with Connell Flying Service. Arrived for an over night stay and received an immediate tie down on the ramp even though it was raining. Absolutely no fees even though I did not require fuel. Very functional pilot lounge. Called ahead and had rental car waiting in parking lot a very short walk from ramp. Call ahead to reserve from Decorah Rentals. 563-382-2351. Beautiful area with bicycle/canoe rentals, and Luther College events a short drive away. Strongly recommend Albert's restaurant at Hotel Winnisheik in Decorah for delicious food. Make this area and airport a "MUST" stop for your next travel destination. A first class airport, owner and operation!
From Warren Levin on 20-Sep-2008: This FBO is the best, Stopped on Monday 9/15 on the way to RAP to see the presidents. Ava came out and fueled the plane and loaned us a car to run into town for a bite to eat. Stopped here on the way back and got no bars AT&T, Ava let me use the business phone so I could call my wife to let her know where I was and about what time to expect me back home in RAC. Great stop great people.

From Jon Williams on 26-May-2007: 5-25-07 A special thank you to the mechanics at Connell Flying Service for their help with my alternator/belt which both failed during my stop at the airport. Will stop again sometime, what a nice airport.
