AvFlight has reversed the bad rap the previous FBO had. Now is very friendly and helpful. Have been going to DRO for 10 years. They are now small GA friendly. They can set you up with good crew rates at the BW Rio Grande Inn and the hotel will come get you. No need for a car. The ramp is re-surfaced and now has 3 point tie down!

Update: Flew back to DRO this week and AVFlight had taken care of reversing the ramp fee and handling charge. Service was great with friendly staff and they are working hard to satisfy their guests. Purchased fuel from AvFlight, Jim helped us to get on our way. Thanks AvFlight!

Great to see a new FBO - Avflight at DRO. Be aware however of the $40.00 "handling fee" that will be charged if you do not purchase fuel. Unfortunately, our credit card was "on file" and we were not made aware of this charge since the new ownership had changed. You must purchase fuel (20-gal) for our Seneca which was over $5.00/gal in order to waive the charge. Got the surprise on our credit card statement. No problem with this as long as they let you know. We're still working on getting this charge reversed after 3-weeks and many phone conversations with Todd. Animas Airpark may be a much better and more affordable option for many depending on the route this FBO takes in the future. Unfortunately, this practice reminded us of landing in Las Vegas McCarran.

Oct. 1, 2009 this was our first visit to the FBO. The staff was extremely helpful and had a rental car waiting for us. They kept our Skyhawk in a warm hangar and it was ready to go on our 24 degree AM flight out. I would highly recommend this FBO to anyone.

Spent the weekend at DRO and had great service. During the stay the right main gear went flat and the line crew were very helpful in diagnosing the problem and fixing it at no charge. Highly recommend Avflight at DRO.

Second time into Durango. First time with Avflight. For just taking the place over recently, Avflight has done a great job of turning the facility into a first class operation. Lots of new equipment and a brand new ramp are just some of the things that got our attention, not to mention the helpful staff. Good to see management working in the field side by side with their crew. FBO's like this make our job so much easier. Thanks guys.

It's only been a couple of weeks since Avflight took over operations. MANY improvements already.

Used to be called Durango Jet Center. I go into DRO frequently and have always been treated very well. Very helpful line and counter staff.
