From Jordan Colby on 23-Jul-2009: Big bright attractive FBO. Efficiently marshalled to parking spot. Front desk person explained that they did not assist in making reservations at local hotels as they did not want to get involved with customers' credit cards (that was the explanation we were given). We were given the names and telephone numbers of several hotels to call ourselves. An unfamiliar experience for us. Rather disinvolved atmosphere, but then we weren't looking for "friendliness", just efficient parking and fueling, which we found.
From Mark Bitterlich on 31-May-2009: EWN has a brand new FBO that's SUPER, but... It's closed after 8 P.M. And a HUGE charge if you need after hours service.
From Clyde Kessel on 11-Mar-2009: This is very nice FBO with a brand new building and a discounted fuel price. The lineman gave us a ride to our B&B. New Bern is a great place for a stopover with plenty of things going on in town.
From Daren Sorenson on 13-Oct-2007: Flew in today for Mumfest 07. Great hospitality from the FBO, Flight School and local EAA chapter. Will definitely come back to visit the area again. Airport is very close to downtown and lots to do.
From Robert Englmeier on 24-Aug-2007: Visited EWN on 8/18/2007 and again on 8/21 thru 8/23/2007 and the service was fine. One of the linemen gave me a ride to my hotel. Tower and air traffic control was very helpful.
From Fran Fitzpatrick on 29-Mar-2007: We visited KEWN on 3/23/07 while en route to Tampa, FL. We got there around eight, and the FBO was about to close. They let us borrow their courtesy car while they filled up our Beech Sierra. The guy even stayed late so we could eat our Wendy's inside at the table. Great experience! Thanks!
