Dropped in on FQD & 57 Alpha for lunch. Rob's Taco Salad sure beats Coke and Crackers from the machines. Easy in and out, reasonable fuel (well all things are relative) and the covered deck is a great place to kick back and unwind. The cafe is open 10 til 3 - 7 days a week. Support your local GA airstrip - and fight FAA user fees!

This is one of the top airport restaurants in the Southeast. Food, service, atmosphere are terrific. Contratulations Ron McKinney. You have created a legendary restaurant.

Great airport and the service at the cafe are great the banana pudding is the greatest. I take my grandchildren there often.

Best burger in Rutherford County. Nice atmosphere!!! Ron waited on us hand and foot. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

What a pleasant experience. Greg, and the folks at the FBO were very helpful. It is a friendly atmosphere with excellent service. I would recommend it for either a quick stop or a long stay. We spent 7 days in the area and Greg was very helpful in providing insight into the area. A great stop. Be sure to sign the wall. We forgot.

I just went to KFQD on 4/23/06 for the first time. This was a great airport. FBO top of the line and the FOOD was great. They serve food every day. If you get a chance I would stop by one of the best Airport I have gone to. Great view of the mountains also.

FQD stands for Fine Quality Dining. Call ahead and they'll save you a burger! Great food and very friendly.

Great little place to eat. Really small but that didn't matter. Prices were very good and if you want a recommendation, the bacon cheeseburger. Also try the banana pudding, excellent!! Will try to come back again.

Took my Mom there for lunch today for the first time and was very pleased. Great food, good prices and friendly folks. Not a large place but large enough. Had a great view of the airport. Will return in the future. Well worth the trip!!

Good food, good folks, great atmosphere, live music on Saturdays, and it's right on the edge of the ramp with a good view of the runway. What more could you ask for? If you are a dedicated airplane nut (like me), you need to patronize places like this! I am based 50 nautical miles away, and I come here at least a couple of times a month for lunch, and I always look forward to the trip!
