Unbelievable service! I called David months ago and told him that I needed a survey partner for a day. He set me up w/ a man named Adam that was perfect for the job, incredibly helpful, prompt and eager. Adam couldn't have worked out better. I called David again before I departed and he told me he would be sure the runway was clean for me (it snowed that morning up there) They are supposed to close at 4:00pm on Sunday, but yet when I was on approach at 5:30pm, David was still working to make the runway spotless just for me. It would have melted the following day, but he stayed late on a Sunday to accommodate me. He also refused to leave until I was picked up by the people from the Long Lake Motor Inn (which I also highly recommend). You feel like you are coming home when you get there. Drop buy there, you may just get to meet some of the nicest people in New England. If you do and you plan to stay over, call Ken at the Long Lake Motor Inn at 207-543-5006 and he'll even pick you up.

A great place to make a stop if your headed up North for work or play. David was extremely helpful in finding us a good hotel and great places to eat. Took great care of our B200.

Very good service and friendly. We were loaned the van of the airport manager for a few hours. He also arranged for us to stop at the deck of his friend's house, on a lake, so that we could eat our lunch in beautiful surroundings. This is a good airport in a very nice area. Highly recommended. (They also have a fine-looking Cessna 310Q for charter.)

A wonderful airport surrounded by spectacular scenery, and with the least expensive fuel in the area. Mr. Fernald couldn't have been more helpful, arranged for a rental car and gave us excellent hotel and dining recommendations. Fort Kent, at the northern terminus of Route 1, is a delightful, friendly town and gateway to the remote Allagash region. A must stop in the most northeast corner of the country.
