Cheap fuel ($1.00/gal less than Richmond area FBOs) and a nice FBO. Look out for skydivers on the weekends. The first third on RWY 28 looks freshly paved, the rest of it is in need of repair.

Stopped in for the bluegrass and fun on Saturday. It was GREAT. The people are very friendly the gas was the cheapest around and they have a very nice FBO.I understand that they do the bluegrass benefit for cancer every year. We certainly won't miss it next year. Defiantly worth the stop!!

Great airport! Self-serve fuel is 3.44/gal, the terminal is brand new and the folks are great to talk to. Offered me Internet behind the desk and the flight plan room has WSI. The runway is supposed to be extended in the next 2 years. Will be back!!

Great prices on fuel that is available 24 hours. And a fantastic staff that really helped us out on a windy, raining night. They came out in the pouring rain to help us as the wind was pushing our plane NOT where we wanted it to go. Then they welcomed us inside (to a very nice facility) well after closing. I would have returned just because of the prices, 24-hour fuel, and WSI weather availability. Now I'd even go out of my way to visit.

I flew in the other day to drop off a passenger in crappy rainy weather but as always, first class local airport service. A friendly Virginia FBO with a fantastic new terminal building and nice fuel prices.
