Flew in this morning - Found new Runway 10 - 28 open. FBO advised the new 3100 ft paved runway has been operational since Aug and will be in next Chart revision. Runway 13 - 31 is CLOSED - now used as taxiway only.

GED staff is some of the best. I have always found them willing to go beyond all expectations. Look forward to future interactions with such a group of professionals Thanks again! Advise everyone to stop in and enjoy the first class service.

Full service fueling for both the plane and me on a long x-country! Quick and efficient service and the food was pretty good too. Flight planning room was well equipped and staff friendly. Will add it to my list of breakfast destinations.

FBO quoted a $40 ramp fee (waived if I bought fuel), and $30 per night parking fee on a TBM700

Shortly after my last visit to Georgetown Air Services, Garrett (the owner) contacted me on his own initiative to inquire about the refueling damage to my plane. Garrett was a true professional, showed genuine concern, and offered to pay for repair of the damage. My paint shop was able to sand-out the scuff/touch-up the gash, so all is well now. I will definitely return to Georgetown Air in the future and I encourage all readers to give this FBO your business. Honest mistakes can happen anywhere; it's refreshing to find someone like Garrett who stands behind his service and proactively strives for continuous improvement.

Restaurant is open! Decided on a lunch run to Lewes, Delaware for crabs at Lazy Susans. The folks at Georgetown Air were professional and hooked us up with a crew car for our lunch run. If I didn't have three passengers I would have topped of the tanks. We'll be back.

Stopped at Georgetown yesterday evening for fuel and dinner. FBO staff was fast and friendly, HOWEVER, he gashed the leading edge of my wing and scuffed my new paint job while fueling my plane! PLEASE, USE PROPER CARE--it's not hard to fuel a low-wing aircraft without causing damage!
Response from Garrett Dernoga, Manager, Georgetown Air Services I have spoken to Mr. Petix regarding the fueling incident with his aircraft. Mr. Petix is going to provide me an estimate to repair the damage to his aircraft and Georgetown Air Services will pay to have the repairs done. Georgetown Air Services regrets this incident, and as you can see by the many previous posts, we provide excellent line service with great customer service.

As others have noted the restaurant is closed. I discovered this on Sunday when I landed there looking for breakfast. However the airport staff set me up with the crew car and directions to the Georgetown Family Restaurant. Thanks. The restaurant at the airport is scheduled to open under new management in the next month or two.

Disappointed to learn on arrival today that restaurant is closed until further notice. Hopefully new restaurant management will take over soon. FBO staff helpful, as usual.

Fast and friendly service. Attentive to inbound traffic with parking directions over radio. Terminal building still in great shape, nice clean ramp. 10c/gallon discount with your restaurant receipt. Recommended stop.

Flew in to visit family at Rehoboth Beach. Friendly staff and service. $10 overnight tie down waived with fuel purchase. Restaurant looked good...Locals drive in to eat there, often a good sign for an airport restaurant.

Good quick friendly ramp service. Excellent pilot accommodations. Rwy 31 is useable but appears out of service from the air. All facilities are nice and clean.
