Towns and the crew were great. We will certainly be back.

I have used Georgetown Airport many times. I have flown into the Airport and stayed for extended periods. The airport line service personnel (William & Chris/ Seven Rivers FBO) do an outstanding job meeting pilots and aircraft needs. Every request I have ever had was met with positive response and helpfulness. I would also like to mention the airport manager (Jim Taylor) who has also been extremely helpful during my visits. If you are flying North or South along the east coast and need to make a stop, I would highly recommend a stop at Georgetown to receive pure Southern Hospitality. As a side note, Georgetown Airport is only about 5 miles from Downtown Georgetown. If you decide you would like to eat, I would request the crew car and drive the 5 miles and try a couple of restaurants. Roots, which is on Main Street, offers great food. Also if you're in the mood for pizza I would recommend Oliver's on Route 17 in Georgetown.

We frequent this airport and it is by choice. William anticipates our needs and we can't wait to return here. The facility is very nice and the treatment is unsurpassed.

I own property in Pawley’s Island South Carolina. I have used my aircraft to travel to that area many times and have always used KGGE (Georgetown Airport). I cannot say enough good things about this airport. The many times I have parked and stayed in the area, the airport personnel have always been accommodating. Any needs that I had from using the crew car to parking my aircraft in a hangar during inclement weather, KGGE has always been glad to help. I would suggest anyone flying South or North and passing thru South Carolina make KGGE airport a definite stop. You will find extremely friendly people willing to help. This is one of the best airports I have ever flown into. My appreciation goes out to Jim Taylor (Airport Manager) and Seven Rivers Aviation. Other airports should use them as an example of how to operate an airport.
