I'm sorry I didn't experience the same excellent service as the others. I was told just to buzz the gate to get back to the ramp after eating. Unfortunately after buzzing for 10 minutes I had to find another way onto the ramp. The girl at the desk explained in a very "matter of fact way", that sometimes it doesn't work. No apologies, no "sorry for your inconvenience"- just "that's the way it is". When I suggested they post the office phone number to call to get in since the buzzer doesn't work all the time, they felt it would be too much trouble. By the way, the restaurant stops serving breakfast at 10:00. I arrived at 10:10 and the attitude was "too late". Hopefully this was just a bad day for people; definitely not the service described by others.

Arrived on June 21st and stayed for a week. Excellent service by Trego/Dugan Aviation very friendly and helpful staff. Although Avgas is a little pricey they do not charge overnight fees. They will upon request put your aircraft in the hangar for $30 a night or $75 a month. They do recognize the AirBoss program although the line person didn't know what the procedure was. I ended up and login on to AirNav to show him the price difference, and he discounted accordingly with no hassles. I had to get a new vacuum pump installed so I had to use their maintenance facilities. I was fairly charged for the installation and if need be will have work done there again. There is a restaurant on the field but its only open from 8 - 5 M-F. Overall a pleasant experience, and I will be back again.

Flew into Grand Island last week for business. Very prompt, courteous service. First class.

From Todd Ericson on 16-Oct-2007
We unexpectedly found ourselves @ GRI due to a weather diversion for Midwestern rain and low ceilings. While the fuel prices are high, the service provided was tremendous and personnel were all extremely friendly. After dinner and a weather re-evaluation we decided to spend the night. Trego/Dugan graciously allowed us to keep the courtesy car overnight to get to/from the hotel. Thanks!

From Frank Hellwig on 10-Oct-2007
We had to divert to GRI due to weather and our experience couldn't have been more positive. They had a crew car for us to take into town for dinner. After we returned, the only hotel with a shuttle was booked. The wonderful folks at Trego made some calls and got us a great rate at the new Hampton Inn (highly recommended). Then they let us keep the crew car overnight. The next morning, the lineman helped us untie the plane and even wiped down the windshield! First rate all the way.

From Andrew Douglas on 20-Jul-2007
Trego is a great place to stop. We were running late, they stayed 30 minutes over to make sure we were taken care of. Plane was fueled and ready to go in the morning.

Stopped during a ferry flight. Nice FBO with efficient services. We were in and out in few minutes but the service was noticeably professional.

From Ryan Hales on 25-May-2007
Unfortunately I have to break the positive streak and say that I no longer will be considering T/D at GRI a viable fuel stop. We had 15 hours of medical transport flying in the past two days. I decided on GRI for the overnight, as I have been pleased with T/D at LBF. It really didn't sit well with me that when we arrived at 0700 this morning for a 0800 there was no one at the desk. After a few minutes a lineman walked by and barely acknowledged us. I followed him into the break room where I found him reading the morning paper and eating breakfast. I asked if there was anyone working the front desk. He said that would be him. HMMMM, now why did you walk right past 4 customers standing at the desk to go read the paper? Being a huge proponent of quality customer service, that sheer sense of negligence has now truly soured my opinion of this FBO. So after another 7 hours of flying today with 3 quick turns and being truly exhausted, I still feel the need to post this comment.

TDA is devastated by the last comment. Customer service is our #1 priority. We have investigated the incident and concluded that Mr Hales' comments were accurate. TDA believes that this incident was an exception to our normal level of service and has apologized directly to Mr. Hales. The employee involved has been terminated. TDA encourages pilots to review the other comments posted below to gain a feel for our normal level of service.

We arrived in a Lear 24 for a quick-turn and catering. The weather was more winter than spring, but the ground crew was ready and we were fueled quickly. Catering was very well prepared and affordable – ample supply for our passengers. Fuel price was even lower than posted on website. Excellent service and facility!

Flew in yesterday and we could not have picked a worse day. Temp was -17C with 20 kts wind blowing snow across the runway. T/D people were freezing, but made the best of it and were very helpful and nice. They even had the car all warmed up for us.

From Chris Gustaf on 07-Oct-2006
Stopped for a quick turn on our way to TEX. Fast service, our catering was ready to go and everyone was very friendly.

From Hellmut Von Seydlitz on 17-Apr-2006
Service with a smile - even on a cold, windy day. This FBO was certainly the best stop on our recent trip. The folks were friendly, the service was fast and efficient, the facilities are beautiful. Thank you very much.

From Michael Couto on 01-Mar-2006
We stopped in yesterday for a quick turn in our Citation. The staff and line guys were ready to go with the fuel truck right as we pulled in. The office, ramp and airport was clean and very well maintained.

From Art Schumer on 30-Dec-2005
Nice staff at the FBO, fast turnaround for refueling and a restaurant on the field. With a tower and an ILS it's a good mid-continent fuel stop. The fuel pricing should be lower considering you in the middle of Nebraska and not on Miami Beach but with only one FBO the prices will not be very competitive.

From Howard Abraham on 26-Nov-2005
Trego/Dugan folks are very friendly and helpful! The courtesy car was generously offered for most of the day...just put in a little fuel! Open late on Thanksgiving Day, but still cheerful and helpful (I'm grateful!). And the fresh popped popcorn is appreciated as well.

From Scott Foster on 28-Oct-2005
Efficient, cheerful service. They arranged for an overnight stay at the local Holiday Inn at a very reasonable rate. Note: 2 out of the 3 runways were closed when we were there.

From Bill Kelsall on 21-Aug-2005
These guys are great. Stopped there for the evening in a C170. They got us to a great motel promtly. While checking into the motel I heard a severe thunderstorm and tornado watch was posted for later in the evening. A quick call to Trego Dugan and the line guys put the plane in the maintinance hangar for the night.

Martinair, Inc. has been using Grand Island Aviation/Trego Dugan Aviation for nearly 20 years as a fuel stop. Their staff is pleasant and efficient and they do try to keep fuel prices competitive. I would highly recommend this location.

From Bill Mermelstein on 01-Aug-2005
When returning to APA from OSH in our A700 AdamJet we stopped for fuel at Trego/Dugan. We were greeted promptly, and quick-turned within :20 minutes. The service was not only fast, but very friendly. We had not even called in to give them prior notice. This is the exact same service we received the prior year as well. Hats off to a job well done.
