Stayed the weekend at The Alluvian (Viking hotel). The Alluvian will pick you up and return you to airport-at no charge. Nice service. The FBO was accommodating, market price for fuel and no tie-down fees.

Very positive experience here, on two occasions. First, I called to inquire about hangar parking for a proposed winter flight. Was advised they would be full, but referred me elsewhere on the field that did offer me hangaring, at no charge. I ended up canceling that trip due to VERY adverse weather. However, I did make the trip a few months later and this time they had space in their hangar for me, and did not charge me anything, with the purchase of fuel. VERY ACCOMMODATING!!! I would return for this "Southern Hospitality"!! Coincidentally, I met an airport board member at a relative's home during my stay and was pleased to know he was interested to receive any input on the operations of the airport and the FBO's.
