Got weathered in, which does not happen often in Phoenix, by a big rainstorm. Crew was as happy to see us as we them. Great service, gave us a ride to a local restaurant and great crew quarter facility. I will be back, but this time in good weather I hope!

Came in just after the FBO had closed. The lineman was still fueling local aircraft, he stopped what he was doing marshalled us in, unlocked the FBO got us a rental car. He went out of his way to help us. Great Job!

Flew my RV-4 to GYR for a quick visit. They had me fueled very quickly with friendly and personal service. They have rental cars for $9.95 to use for a few hours. Easy in and out airport with small town service in a big city.

This is a great FBO with excellent service. We are in a Cheyenne II and have been basing out of Lux Air GYR for several days. These folks are top notch! Great service that is quick and courteous, and the line staff is very knowledgeable. Very nice people. Thanks.

Dear Mr. Berger: I had the pleasure of visiting Lux Air at the GYR airport while flying my Hawker 850 on April 28/29, 2009. I'd like to say that your staff there is very professional from the Manager, Ryan Reeves to the CSR Hillary, to the expert Line Service provided by Art and Mike. Mr. Reeves takes great pride in his job and has an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of the airport. Additionally, he is a delightful person. The employee morale is good and it comes through in their work. Please recognize them for a job well done. Sincerely.

Was in Phoenix last week and I have to say the service and people at Lux Air were First Rate. We stayed for the weekend this time but I will start to use them for fuel stops in the future.

Cheers to everyone at Lux Air for a great experience this past weekend for the NASCAR races. Our rental cars were waiting for us planeside, a ride to the helicopter for our passengers was also in place and anything else we needed was fulfilled with a smile. There are two gentlemen at Lux Air that went above and beyond our expectations. They were Val at the desk and Ian working the line. These guys were awesome and helped us out with arranging catering, giving me a tour of the flight line and making sure we were able to taxi out safe on a very crowded ramp. Kudos to them and Lux Air. I have to agree with the positive comments here. These people were very helpful. I landed at the airport just shortly after the tower closed and Lux Air too. However when I got on the Unicom, someone from Lux Air let me know where to park, let me know that my friends were waiting in the terminal, and once I parked, they tied down my plane for me. The next morning I called in and they filled my tanks as per my request; all ready for when I arrived. They were friendly and ready to help with anything. On the way out the door they let me know that I could grab a cold bottled water from the ice bucket. I had a very good impression from a reasonably short time there. All the best.

Phoenix Goodyear Airport is the 2008 Airport of the Year and LUX AIR has got to be a big reason why. They were superior in every area of aircraft support. We arrived with a large contingent of people and the LUX AIR folks met and exceeded any request for service that we had - computer/internet support, ground support equipment, food and catering, transportation, facility access, aircraft servicing support, and just plain old-fashioned throw-open-the-front-door hospitality. We were thoroughly pleased with the enthusiasm and professionalism displayed by the entire LUX AIR staff. We certainly will be looking for a reason to come back and visit the Goodyear area. LUX Air is superb!

Our first trip to Phoenix; Goodyear will be hard to beat! Was met at plane by Will who then had the plane tied down practically before we got out! Everyone very helpful with baggage and extremely friendly.

First time using KGYR and Sun Western Flyers. Great first impression. When we arrived (35 passengers) our rental cars met us at the airplane, the line guys were eager to unload bags, service the aircraft, whatever needed to be done. Great hustle, enthusiasm and service during our 2 day stay. What a pleasure! We'll be back.

I visited Sun Western Flyers March 17, What a great FBO, Ryan Reeves was a pleasure to meet and get to know. He was very helpful and informative. The FBO is a first class facility, with a very well stocked pilot shop also. Great crew working there. I will recommend Sun Western to all the pilots I know.

I would highly recommend this FBO as a great alternative to any at Phoenix or Scottsdale. Both Ryan Reeves and Ryan Coast did a great job for my passengers and me on my recent stay at KGYR. In my opinion, they both went the extra mile to make sure my rental car was taken care of, my King Air C90b was fueled and tied down properly and my passengers had everything they needed while I did my preflight. Thanks again both Ryan’s.

Stopped there on Jan. 19th - Great and very friendly service - they are a big sponsor of the Arizona Pilots Association, and every 3rd Saturday (luckily the day I stopped) there are hot dogs & hamburgers for FREE. Really enjoyed the stop, and will certainly come back. Oh yeah, the price of fuel is probably the lowest in the Valley!

Best fuel prices around the valley. A great alternative to flying into some of the other congested airports. There is also a nice pilot shop inside the terminal that supplies charts and flight gear.
