We arrived 7/5/08 at 11pm local, having been diverted to HEF due to weather. Outstanding service from lineman Mike on the overnight shift. He arranged for ground transportation and hangar space to protect the a/c from an approaching storm. The next morning, Mike fueled parked my AG-5B directly outside the FBO door. A first class experience all the way. I'll be back.

Flew in on Thursday and was met by two linemen who greeted us with the red carpet treatment and bottled water. They also pulled our rental car up to the plane and helped us with our luggage. Very helpful and professional. Great service!

Restaurant just opened this week on the second floor. Open every day for lunch and dinner till 9 PM. will soon be open for breakfast at 7 AM. Great hospitality and great view of the runway for those who like to eat AND watch airplanes.

Back again after a year. NextFlight is now Volo, and still outstanding. Excellent line and counter staff. Services are great and we sampled the new restaurant on the second floor. The food was very good with a great view of the runways.

Great FBO, I was there from 28 March to the 30th.GFlew in from ISP Long Island NY. Karen was great to set things up before I got there. Mike B was great to execute them. Car was ready, waiting by the plane. When leaving lineman Mike Fr. Was very helpful, offered water or anything we could need. Great place to arrive at after dealing with the DC area aerospace. I almost forgot, I was only flying my C172.Fuel prices a lot better than NY... I will be back. Thank you Volo crew !!!!

I flew into HEF on March 21 and can't say enough about how helpful they were. I needed a car for several hours and they graciously offered me the use of the crew car. They had my Cirrus ready fueled and ready to go when I returned so that there was nothing delaying my departure. A great FBO!!

I have just returned from DC. I was caught in the recent ice storm. The only way I was able to return was due to the outstanding service by everyone a Volo. They got my airplane in a hangar, a room, a car, and even let me preflight in the hangar, then pulled me out while I was inside my aircraft getting ready to go. Thanks guys I'll be back. I flew into KHEF on the 1st of November 2007. Michael Martin, a staff lineman, greeted me. He was very professional and even offers me a slice a pizza they were enjoying for their lunch. He refueled my A/C promptly. Then, Brian Nace, another lineman, promptly repositioned my plane to a tie down spot, secured it, and even cleaned the windshield! Great service, period!!

I will echo the comments made by others. I was greeted in my Cardinal RG with a cold bottle of water. Line service was very prompt and diligent. Facilities are nice, people are friendly and helpful, and fuel price is very good. I will definitely go back if I need to return to the area.

I agree the service is prompt and friendly but I had a mixed experience. Arrived on a Sunday for fuel. Lineman only topped off main tanks so there was some delay getting the fuel truck. Back in the plane to continue but had broken starter. I know it was Sunday but nobody seemed to know what maintenance they provided. Suggested I contact Dulles since they probably do not do piston maintenance. They did get hotel reservations for overnight. I called in the next morning and was informed they infact do not do piston maintenance but was refered to a maintenance shop on the field. They were helpful towing the plane back and forth to other maintenance shop.

Fantastic FBO. Top-notch service even for single engine customers. The new location is very nice. When you are met on the ramp with cold bottled water for each person and your rental car is running and cooled, it's easy to like Nextflight.

Nice FBO. Arrived at 12:30 am by Grumman Cheetah to a friendly greeting and coffee. They parked and tied down the plane for me. When I returned three days later it was topped off as requested. The staff was very friendly. My kids enjoyed the fresh popcorn and clean restrooms. Two big screen TVs to choose from and a nice flight planning room. It is a good place to stop.

Arrived 9am to find lineman waiting. Superior service and friendly staff. Facilities are top notch. I would recommend to all. Upon leaving around 10pm, our Columbia was promptly pulled right up front for convenience and to minimize getting wet in the rain.

OUTSTANDING FBO. Flew into Manassas for a trip to DC and was met with smiles and superior service by the entire NextFlight staff. Went above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable. No tie down fees with gas--they even pulled my tiny Diamond Katana into the hangar to preheat before leaving town. Corporate Jet treatment in a 2-seater 24-gallon tank Katana...That's service. Will definitely return again!

WOW! I chose this FBO based on other pilot comments on AirNav.Com. The D.C. Area is complex. There are several pages of notams. IFR will ensure compliance. Land at this field and use NextFlight. We arrived about 10 P.M. just before Thanksgiving, 2006. Our car was ready and brought out to the plane. They even had the car interior warmed! They unloaded our luggage, made sure we had lots of water, popcorn, and maps. Prices were reasonable. Low tie down fees. These folks are great. Paid a lot of attention to our young kids, also. These are Teddy Bear people.

After choosing the FBO by AirNav, we really did not know what to expect. We arrived and made ourselves at home. The staff really went overboard to accomodate our presence and the 20 people we had come to meet our aircraft. I felt we were in their way however, on more than one occasion all the staff from the desk girls to the line made it clear they were here to accomodate us and our interests. The FBO manager was particulary impressive as he was out working the line one day and in his business suit the next. He actually loaned us his personal headset! You don't see this kind enthusiasm often. They were more than fair on the hangar rental and conference room, fuel prices were in line too. I would recommend NEXTFLIGHT to anyone from piston to jets. They are there for you!! Hertz has a full time staffed desk there too.

Excellent FBO, Oct 4-6, 2006 the ladies at the counter were very helpful, hotel reservations, conference room use, crew car, restaurant recommendations and most anything we ask for they helped us with. Helen, Karen and Mary are Great; each one was friendly, helpful and the ultimate professional in customer service. I will recommend NextFlight to anyone that might need services around the DC area. Bottom line the whole crew from management to line services gave us really great service.

I'll add another rave review for NextFlight. We stopped in with our two kids (both under 2), and the staff was great! They helped us with luggage, pulled the rental car around, helped us with getting the car seat installed, offered us ice cold water on a hot day --- all without us even asking for any help. Very fast, efficient, and professional service. Definitely would return to this FBO when coming back to the area.

Awesome service. Arrived in a Cessna 172 and got service as good as the many jets on the ramp. Was met with a golf cart for our luggage, rental car was waiting. On our return the plane was fueled and ready to go. We were delayed one day due to weather and they gave us a crew car for the night and made our hotel reservations. Couldn't have asked for better service!

This is one of the best FBO's around. We stopped by in a single engine Cirrus and were treated great. The employees could not have been any nicer. Our family and aircraft were handled professionally. I met Daryl the FBO Mgr and he made sure things were running smooth.

We were looking for easy access to downtown DC in our King Air 350, and after the delays and expense on our last trip to Dulles we decided to give HEF a try. Easy quick in and out with no delays! Customer service was excellent. We called ahead and our van was waiting for our passengers on the ramp. Fuel was over $2.00 per gallon cheaper then Signature at IAD. Passengers advised the trip to downtown DC was only about a 30-minute drive. Mary at NextFlight was excellent and went above and beyond the call of duty for us. We will be back!

Super place, great service. We got stuck here overnight due the rain deluge, and I got water-contaminated fuel. These folks at the FBO and the maintenance hangar went above and beyond to help us out. Very friendly and professional, great facility. I recommend it without hesitation. We will be back.

We operate a Pilatus, based in Burbank, California and we make an east coast swing about every quarter. A couple of years ago, discouraged by the logistics and costs of cycling in and out of Dulles, we began using Nextflight. I flew in Friday, May12th to NextFlight for a meetings in downtown WASHINGTON.I thought that I could catch Virginia Rail Express to and from Washington. Daryl LaClair, FBO Manager let me know that VRE does not run on Sunday and helped me get a rental car. He was a lot of help as were the nice ladies at the front desk. I am from Columbus, GA and found that there is Southern Hospitality all the way to Virginia.

We had fantastic service when we dropped in unexpectedly on March 14! The surface winds were strong and Dulles was only using one runway. They stopped arrivals and we popped in on NextFlight. The customer service manager greeted the pilots and passengers at our door with cold water bottles. The front desk started working on our ground transportation needs immediately. When they found out it was going to be a half hour until they could get transportation for our passengers, the FBO manager and the owner drove our passengers to the Dulles Airport! What great service! Thanks NextFlight!

Flew all the way from the Bahamas in my Cirrus Sunday and landed late at HEF. I was dragging my bags in and mentioned that I was starving and was told to try the new restaurant upstairs from NextFlight, it was still open at 9:30! I obliged and was I surprised. Bar none, the best restaurant I have EVER been to at an airport! Like 5 star dining with views of the runway, eat here, trust me when I tell you that you will be very happy.

Flying direct from Orlando to Manassas on April 19th, I was relieved to exit my plan and stretch-out in front of NextFlight. I was guided by the lineman immediately and after shutdown and climbing out, I was welcomed and greeted by Rebecca at the wing of my aircraft, who offered a cold bottle of water and directions to the closest bathroom. One would think this would be the end of the service and hospitality...Well it was not. Everyone at NextFlight provided friendly, immediate and overwhelming assistance. They arranged a car rental, hotel reservations, directions and the restaurant upstairs which has just opened was fantastic. What an experience. I will be back. No offense intended but it didn't bother me that all the girls were beautiful! Here comes the wife, got go!

First visit to HEF pre-arranged fuel price and limo service met at the airplane upon arrival, by a very attractive young lady, limo met passanger at aircraft and off he went in 1 minute flat, had crew car waiting for us, the customer service was excellent, fuel price was better than we pay at our home base. FBO was top shelf, just a very positive stop over, wish they could all be like this. Would highly recommend this operation!!

The folks at NextFlight were OUTSTANDING! From the time I taxied in and park, my bags were out of the aircraft and placed in my rental, gassed up and ready to tow and bed down the aircraft BEFORE I had my gear and everything buttoned up. The group at NextFlight can only be described as energetic and extremely helpful. We had landed in the morning and experienced a wind shift later in the day which left us in a position for a tailwind engine start on the aircraft. Normally asking line crew of an average FBO to spin the aircraft would abrasive. At NextFlight, the line personnel made the effort to come and ask if they could turn the aircraft into the wind. It seems rare to find this kind of service on the road these days!

The staff at NextFlight at KHEF is outstanding and provides excellent service. If you need to land in northern VA, Maryland or anywhere near D.C., the extra effort (for VFR pilots) associated with the ADIZ is worth getting to KHEF and NextFlight. The place looks great and the service is first rate. Fuel prices are competitive too.

I visited NextFlight last Thursday to drop off some passengers and again today to pick them up. This was one of the nicest FBOs I have used. The line guys were great and the counter personnel were friendly and helpful. Fuel prices were about as good as they get these days. Great FBO.

A group of us have been planning an event nearby and we carefully considered the FBO situation some months back. We finally decided that the attitudes of the NextFlight folks were second to none and they deserved and wanted our business even though we represented all piston drivers. The manager Owen was very helpful and really did everything he could to accommodate our needs. We had really received some attitude from one of the other FBOs and were really happy to be able to work with Nextflight. They have really shown that they are interested in the needs of smaller aircraft. I can only imagine that the comments of the guy on Aug 31st were due to the fact that Nextflight was in the middle of taking over one of the other operations on the field which was pulling out. Hard to juggle all the balls sometimes. I am sure they did the best they could given our experience. They deserve a high recommendation at NextFlight.

I left my single engine aircraft with NextFlight for 5 days during a business trip to DC. NextFlight had just bought-out Jet Services, and had moved into the former Jet Services building and hangar on the east side of the airport. Received great service and great fuel price. Everyone was trying hard, despite the headaches of breaking-in their new home. They rolled out the (green) carpet upon my exit from the craft, and even gave me a ride to the nearby Broad Run/Airport VRE train station. On the way back from the train station, Don met me (and my luggage) half-way with a golf cart and drove me directly to my aircraft. Had in-flight popcorn on the way home, thanks to the popcorn machine in the lobby.

I had the most unpleasant experience at this place. The facility was disheveled. I reserved a rental car, which they made me wait for. The girl at the counter seemed like she had no idea what she was doing, yet about three employees told me how much better they are than their competitors. I'll try their competitors next time.

Left my Twin Comanche at Nextflight for the weekend and couldn't have been more impressed. The staff was unbelievably courteous, helpful, and professional. I have flown into Manassas many times and will NEVER go anywhere else but Nextflight again. They put my aircraft in a hangar for the weekend (for free!), serviced my nose strut, and took great care of us. Alan Cook, Don, etc are the greatest!!!

NextFlight earns top marks in all categories. Met at our plane with a bottle of cold water in August, certainly started things off right. NextFlight is off in the corner and a bit land-locked, but does well with the space they have. Our plane was hangared at no cost, for best use of ramp space. Fuel as low as I've seen anywhere including small strips in 4-5 months, and $0.75 cheaper than anywhere else on our multistop trip from NC to BOS and back. We had called ahead for a rental car, but were given the crew car at no cost to drive into DC overnight (gone 21 hours)!! This typifies NextFlight. Personalized directions were printed for our hotel, reserved by NextFlight at a discounted rate. The facilities were lovely, clean and convenient and the line crew and office staff were delightful. My only complaint is that I had to make sure my teenage son didn't have any of the champagne in the lounge area. I'm not kidding. If there is a better FBO in the country, I don't know where it is.

I just completed a 3 week airborne research project in the DC area and happened upon Next Flight. The success of my mission would not have been possible without the expert and friendly support of the Next Flight folks. They treated my DHC-6 crew as well as any of the heavy operators that came through. After 18 years of these types of missions, I can't remember a more pleasant experience. Next Flight has it all - great line crew, knowledgeable staff, experienced maintenance support, top notch facilities and the lowest prices in the area!

Outstanding service! We were greeted with bottled water and even roses for our women passengers. Accommodations for the crew and pax were excellent. I'm sure our customers appreciated the fact that we were given a crew car to keep over-nite, a rental car would have come out of their pocket. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else when we come up to the DC area.

When I make it back this way Next Flight will get my business. Excellent service and a super friendly atmosphere. I wasn't ignored coming in unannounced and was treated extremely well. It's important to see how a place can treat someone that doesn't arrive in a business suit or uniform as the rough looking person may not be who they seem.

Terrific FBO with easy access to DC area. Personnel made the overnight stay a breeze. No surprises and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Also got the airplane detailed while parked overnight at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend the FBO to all.
