I arrived in Hazleton, after hours, in the midst of a multi-day cross-country delivery of my 65-knot, Day-VFR-only experimental airplane. My intent was to spend the night on a tiedown, and continue on my journey the following day. When the weather unexpectedly closed in, however, I found myself stranded. Dave and his crew at the FBO went far above and beyond in their efforts to help and accommodate me during what turned out to be a 5-week long stay at KHZL in the corner of one of the FBO hangars. In every regard they treated my little aircraft and me with professionalism and respect and attentiveness many FBOs reserve only for high-dollar aircraft and operators. I would recommend the Hazleton FBO to the highest degree, and look forward to returning in the future.
