I have been here three times visiting my daughter who is a freshman at Wake Forest. Yes, fuel is higher than surrounding smaller airports, but the airport is extremely convenient to the school and the Landmark staff could not be friendlier or more helpful.

Flew in with my daughter and son-in-law who were house hunting prior to starting graduate school at Wake Forest. The folks at Landmark couldn't have been nicer. We got Gulfstream treatment in our C-182. I would recommend this FBO to anyone!

Stopped in to tour Wake Forest with my daughter. 1st class service, had courtesy car ready for us when we arrived. Quality of the service is the same for piston singles as for G-550's.

Used this FBO many times now. Staff is always courteous and efficient. Stopped in this last time with little notice and a serious transponder problem. Our Citation was diagnosed, repaired, refueled and ready to go in a little over an hour. Avionics and maintenance shop here highly recommended.

Went in late in the evening on a Thursday night. Had called ahead requesting a quick turn and all I can say is wow.. Before I got out of the plane the fuel truck was in front of it, and I was topped off before I got out of the restroom! GREAT SERVICE! Have used them a number of times and calling ahead improves service DRASTICALLY! A++

Taxi in slowly - watch for someone to wave you in. Service good and always very friendly. Know them well now. Prices seem out-of-touch. Just look around and see plenty of lower gas prices.

Flew in on 08/21/08, departed on the 22nd: on the ramp for 24 hours. Requested GPU but all units busy with other aircraft. Took 30 minutes to pull aircraft from the back 40. Facility Fee $275.00, Landing Fee $50.00. I could have bought 175 Gallons of $7.25 Jet A and they would waive fees. What else can I say? Plenty, but I'll bite my tongue.

Very poor service, very long taxi from and to primary runway and expensive prices! Greensboro, NC and even Lexington, NC provide far better service, more convenient FBO location in relation to runway and far better prices.

Good service from linemen and CSR. $20 ramp fee for singles is waived with 15 gal avgas purchase, FS or SS. Hawthorne Inn hotel was exceptional, close to town and Old Salem, was reasonably priced, and provides free pick up from the airport.

Good staff but facility needs a makeover. Limited ramp space. Good crew cars. Pilot room needs a dedicated TV; only TV is in passenger lounge. Only one PC, in pax lounge.

Costly ramp fees of $50. For a small twin and $20. For a single. Pilots beware!

Showed up for a 4-day conference in downtown Winston Salem. Staff was very helpful and efficient. Volunteered to drive us downtown so we didn't need a cab. Called to let us know our tire was found to be flat and they were taking care of it for us.

Fairly nice facility and good location. Handling fee waived with 15-gallon purchase of high priced fuel. I would go there again, but only if my business was specifically in Winston-Salem.

Upon arrival, no one around to show me where to park. So, I park where I thought it is okay and went inside. Got the rental car, and go out on to ramp to unload plane, only to find a tug pulling it away, way down to the other end of the airport. Finally he stops, I unloaded, but he possibly damaged the front wheel pant. Desk ladies were not too eager to help. Upon departing, lady at desk was very friendly.

Had a quick trip KINT for an overnight and had a few things to pass along. 1) I pulled in and was waved into a spot and that's the last I saw of the line people. I flagged the plane, got my bags out (it was raining too) and no one came to help, offer me a ride to the terminal or anything. I was quite amazed at the lack of service. Walking in the door I saw a posted asking me to remember the Praise survey and hoped I'd put my vote in to the FBO. You can guess my thoughts as I read that! 2) On the other hand, the customer service reps were very nice, the facilities clean, coffee good and I was treated very well once I got inside. It was in stark contrast to what happened outside.

An unplanned overnight stop due to really strong headwinds en route. The folks at Landmark loaned us the crew car to get some dinner, arranged a hotel with a low rate, took us to the hotel and picked us up in the morning. Fuel price was lower than previously posted on AirNav. I'd certainly stop there again!

I'd like to thank all of the employees and staff of Landmark for all of their help on Dec 19 2006. Especially Chris, Wayne, and Lee in the maintenance shop. I flew my Cessna 414A in there with an oil leak and they did an exceptional job at getting me back in the air before my passengers were even ready to leave. Again great job to all the staff, great FBO!!!!! One of the best!!!!!

I've stopped at Piedmont-Hawthorne aka Landmark several times over the past four years. Always somewhat expensive, but always first-class service. Enterprise has never failed to have a car there and waiting when I called ahead to order it, no hassles, including Sundays. Latest Landmark policy is $20 ramp fee (single engine) waived if you buy 15 gallons of fuel. Self-serve is some distance from the FBO (SE of runways 4-22 and 15-33), but it satisfies the 15-gallon policy, and is not terribly expensive ($3.75 as of this writing).
