We landed Friday Nov. 24th (the day after Thanksgiving) and were unable to hail an Uber. The FBO kindly loaned us their "Purdue Aviation" crew car so that we could visit the nearby Frank Lloyd Wright "Samara" house (highly recommended). The tower controllers are very friendly and helpful, so we had a very positive experience.

We stopped for fuel and ended up overnighting. The FBO is a great place to wait and do flight planning. It's interesting to have the buzz of flight training going on while you're there. They have good connections with hotels, so getting a place to stay was no big deal. This is one of the FBOs that does it right.

SUPERB service. Precautionary landing because of engine monitor data consistent with a clogged air intake portion of a fuel injector. Prompt service on a Friday afternoon just before a big football game.

Great airport even though the fuel prices are a bit high. Wherever an aviation school resides you will find higher fuel prices as the students get screwed with paying a higher fuel rate than a GA pilot would. The controllers here are great to work with especially if you need a progressive taxi as the taxiways and ramps can get a bit confusing if you are not a regular.
