Thank you for following up on the Alamo rental car we left there! Alamo dropped the ball but you guys helped out by reminding them you still had their car! Thank you again!

Great FBO, BUT, you may receive a property tax bill from Los Angeles County for approximately 1% of you aircraft's assessed value. Apparently, the assessor’s office regularly inspects AirFlite's ramp. If you are there when they do, you may get a bill. I'm an Oregon resident in an aircraft registered and hangared in Oregon. However, I still got a bill from being there a couple of times. This isn't a reflection on AirFlite's service. It is excellent. For all I know the same thing could happen at any of the FBO's in Long Beach.

Great People, Great Service! Close/Convenient to RWY 30 upon landing via "J" and "B" and close to RWY 24L at "D" via "J" upon departure. This is important because I think extended taxiing around at LGB can be dangerous to your FAA ticket... Car rental is a breeze, red carpet (which impressed my son quite a bit...) and professional service is top notch -everybody is very nice! Worth the slightly elevated fuel price considering the free crew car if only needed for a couple of hours. Would highly recommend to everyone flying into LGB.

Flew into LGB for an overnight this past weekend and had a great experience at AirFlite. When I taxied onto their ramp they directed me into a parking spot, the rental car was there when I got the door opened, and 3 guys helped me unload the bags. Very efficient. I gave a fuel order and time of departure for the next day to the desk person and the next day arrived to find the plane fueled and sitting next to the terminal exactly as requested. Oh, and the kids thought the aquarium was very cool, too!

I will say AirFlite provides good service and friendly people. I did find something disturbing though during a recent visit. They seem to think nothing of de-fueling an aircraft into their refueling truck. Then offloading that "dirty" fuel onto another aircraft. Definite safety issue, which the FAA would definitely frown upon. Fly safe and stay away from dirty fuel.
Response from Patrick T. Carey, Aviation Safety Officer, AirFlite In response to a comment June 7, by John Hawkins concerning aircraft de-fueling, as the AirFlite Aviation Safety Officer I have investigated this comment. AirFlite has strict procedures, with one truck specifically allocated for de-fueling by single point only. When clients request de-fueling the fuel is quarantined, and only put back in the their aircraft following strict filtering procedures. In 2007 AirFlite has de-fueled two airplanes, the last one in March. Mr. Hawkins may have observed an operator other than AirFlite de-fueling as we share space with several other operators. If Mr. Hawkins observed an airplane being de-fueled on the AirFlite ramp other than March 2007, I would appreciate a call as this is a comment that needs immediate attention if any AirFlite personnel were involved. Patrick Carey, Aviation Safety Officer, (562) 490-6200. AirFlite appreciates the opportunity to provide the safest and most professional aviation support.

Excellent service and reasonable prices for a piston/avgas burner for an airport of this size. Catalina was fogged in so we popped into LGB/AirFlite and took the ferry the next morning. Holiday Inn took so long for their courtesy van to show up that AirFlite volunteered to transport us in their van. Highly recommend this FBO.

Excellent service on a recent Angel Flight. Even though a single engine piston, they provided first-rate service and the loan of a crew car to get lunch. Plane fueled and ready to go promptly and good fuel prices, especially for the LA area.

Visited AirFlite for the first time. They have a beautiful facility. The rental car was next to our aircraft before we even had our door open. Very nice people with free cookies and a large assortment of coffee and tea drinks. My passengers were quite impressed. Don't know what the ramp fee was, but it was waived in exchange for a 25-gallon fuel purchase (Cessna Twin)

I used to stay at Signature ... Until they damaged my airplane and refused to pay for the repairs. For the last year, I've been stopping in at AirFlite and the service has been fantastic every time!
