Flew up to take my Commercial-ASEL written test. Friendly professional staff, reasonably well stocked selection of charts and approach books. I was impressed and will be back.

Great day trip from Cincy! I flew in with my son for a couple hours hiking around the caves of Hocking Hills. Matt and the rest of the folks at Fairfield Air Ventures were friendly / helpful. I rented a care from Hertz in town (Mgr's name was Joe). Joe picked me up and dropped me off at the end of the day. Great experience.

Flew in for the P51 show. Stayed for 2 nights with no reservations. Nice tie down, no parking fees with fuel purchase. Only charged the posted self-service 100LL price for full service. 2 Thumbs up!

Had a fried alternator and volt reg while visiting Columbus for the Gathering of Mustangs. Fairfield Air Ventures were GREAT in getting me repaired (on an incredibly busy weekend) and back in the air. VERY reasonable charge for all the work. Super friendly, helpful, smart ... One of the best FBO's. Now my preferred port in the Columbus area.

I called today to get information on parking and fuel for the upcoming P-51 Gathering at Columbus. I was told parking would be $25, hangar $75 per night, with reservations. Shocked me and I forgot to ask what AV-GOLD would be! We are going somewhere else! BH-KGTU.

I flew in for the guaranteed self-service price of $3.98, but was charged $4.37. I mentioned to the very friendly counter staff that the guaranteed AirNav price was $3.98. "Well, you know how AirNav is if people don't update it." I told him again that they guaranteed the price and that they are supposed to update it. I was only buying 17 gallons so it wasn't a big deal, but they need to brief their staff a little better if they want to use the "Guaranteed" tag on AirNav. Nice airport, though, and very friendly people.

Stopped at Fairfield airport for a quick turn fuel stop. Pulled in and pulled up to the self serve fuel in our C310 and the FBO guys came out and said they were about to close up and asked if they could help us with anything before they left. Told them no, we were just gonna get some fuel and they came over and started helping. These guys were great, they said they'd take care of fueling us and that we could go inside and rest or whatever and they'd take care of it. When I offered to help they insisted that it was no problem, no worries. These guys were great! No extra charges on the self serve and they did all the work for us! Highly recommend the fine people at Fairfield Air Ventures! Made our stop very comfortable!
