A great conversation with Joyce Opp today 3/8/10 about the PC-12 and how it is operated. They were under the assumption that we were a "business operation." We are General Aviation, Part 91 PC-12 and do not engage in any type of Commercial Operation. Therefore, Joyce assures us that future, quick, passenger drop off or pickup flights will not incur the minimum fuel purchase or $100 ramp fee. Now that this issue is "cleared, " we will enjoy their hospitality and service.

$100 ramp fee for each pax pickup and drop-off (5 to 10 mins) at this FBO or buy 100 gallons of JET-A each time! No room in PC-12 tanks, so Airport Authority was contacted and NO CHARGE to park near Main Terminal and walk through Gen. Av. Gate. This FBO has lost our often-repeated future business. Unless something changes, we will not return to this FBO. Response from Joyce Opp, Manager, LNS Alliance Aviation Greetings to all Pilots! Thank you all for your kind comments and for your constructive criticism of Alliance Aviation. Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Joyce Opp and I became Manager of Alliance Aviation on September 1, 2009. With regard to the $100.00 ramp fee issue, I would like to clarify that that policy is for all business charter jets. We have NO ramp fee for leisure travelers and offer all pilots concierge services, complimentary transportation to the restaurant and movie theatre that are both on-site to all visiting pilots. The $100.00 ramp fee is the ONLY fee that jets have if they don't need fuel or other services at LNS. There is no landing fee. I am saddened by John's comment because we really work hard everyday to make our guests feel welcome and take good care of each and every pilot that flies our way! I hope that this clarification is helpful and HAPPY FLYING TO ALL!!!!

Great service from the entire crew!! Snowstorm of the 19th was memorable and the entire crew handled it like they do it every day. John did a yeoman's job moving snow and our PC-12.

Arrived well after sunset and tower guided us to alternate taxiway into Alliance. Line person's minimal, marshalling skills had us "touring" the ramp before he decided where our parking spot was located. However, all other services were excellent! Joyce was a great help in providing a lift from close-in hotel to airport in the morning. Kudos to a "sharp" manager!

Excellent service with a smile. Joyce (the FBO manager) was most helpful in assisting with transportation and fuel. Will be back again. Thanks for the great service!

I read the previous comments and have to disagree. Just flew in for a quick turn. Person behind the desk was polite and helpful, and promptly arranged for fuel. Meanwhile, I spent 10 minutes in a very well equipped pilots lounge, filing my return flight plan. Would gladly return.

Arrived mid morning after calling ahead with my ETA. Parked my 206 and tied it down as it was a bit windy, no lineman in sight. Parked three hours and bought 40 gallons of 100LL but got hit with a $25 ramp fee anyway.

Not a very good experience, I had an Angel Flight and stopped for gas. No one on site to guide you to parking, no one in the office and when I finally found the fuel guy he said he would get to me when he had time. I explained that I had a patient that was running late to Boston but got no response. I hope that I never have to stop here again.

Overall, not a very positive experience. Brought a friend over to pick up his SR-20, asked for ride to terminal and to top off A/C for flight home. Girl at Alliance got the ride to the restaurant right, but the fuel order was lost. Guy used the refueling step and handles on the airplane while fueling...Take 5 minutes and get the ladder out. Spilled fuel on the top of the wing...Nobody around to park me when I arrived, don't know what the problem was, but this place seemed disorganized and needs A LOT of "spit and polish"
