Stopped in today during an IFR X-C. Plane was fueled quickly and Flight Planning room was well equipped. CSR's were friendly and helpful. Will be back

Return visit this morning while on a jaunt around WV. Super service from the line staff. The restaurant in the terminal building was actually pretty good! They make a mean Reuben. Tower was very helpful and professional. I like this place.

I have landed here several times a year on business. The people at the FBO are very friendly and helpful. On a recient trip I need the GPS cards updated and they helped get it done. Could not have asked for better service.

Stopped in for a stay at the Greenbrier. The service provided by the FBO is ok. They do not wave the tie down fee even if you buy fuel. I planned my arrival with the shuttle to the hotel. If there is no one on the commercial flight the shuttle will not run. The limo service is insanely high. My recommendation is rent a car if even for a few days and drive yourself.

Don't expect any help unless you ask and don't be in a hurry. Staff is friendly but very unmotivated. The CSR at the desk won't call the hotel; she will just give you the numbers to make the call yourself. Same with hangar. Make the call yourself to another operator. Once again, nice people but expensive overnight fees and unhelpful service.

Good operation. Got great service even though I showed up in a lowly Cherokee. My impression was that with all the traffic to the Greenbrier Re$ort, this is for the most part a high-roller bizjet operation. Very friendly folks, helped arrange for a hangar if needed (hail was possible the afternoon I landed). Fuel was surprisingly reasonable. If you're going to the Greenbrier, the cheapest option is probably to arrive around the same time as one of the scheduled carriers, then take the Greenbrier shuttle. I heard horror stories about the cost of the on-demand limo service. For the return trip, the Greenbrier shuttle runs from the Greenbrier to the airport on a schedule posted around the Greenbrier on HDTV’s. The drive to the Greenbrier is maybe 15 minutes.

Stopped by for fuel and steak on our way to D.C. a few days before Thanksgiving, 2006. Great food. Fuel was reasonable. Friendly folk. I was not charged any tie down fees or ramp fees. I asked why this airport had so much business and a restaurant in such a remote area. Seems the Greenbrier Hotel is just down the road. This is the so-called secret hotel for the President and Congress in case of a nuclear attack. Seems this place is now open to anyone. A ski resort is around the corner also. Anyone know where Congress' new secret, fraiddy-hole is?

I flew in to LWB on 04/19/2006. The best Line service I have ever had anywhere. I was parked, fueled and even the Windshield cleaned (without asking!). Even though I was the only Single Piston around I was treated as though I was one of the corporate/private jet guys. The FBO is comffy and the staff were nice and polite. Spent a few hours there while awaiting a UPS shipment to arrive. The best hamburger I've eaten too! Maybe because I was starving or maybe its just good ol' country cooking. The tower was nice and friendly as well. Overall I would definitely come back if my business takes me that way again. Also rented a car from Enterprise. It was ready and clean although only 1/4 full in tank. Fuel for both your car and plane are very high as compared to the Baltimore area. But I guess you can't have all the beauty without some drawback.

My son and I recently flew into this airport to go skiing at Snowshoe which was our 3rd visit. Tie-down was $10 per night and no waiver with fuel. Price seems somewhat high for this airport location...they had plenty of room, so it's not a case of limited valuable tie-down space. This area is very nice and outstanding for outdoor sports...West Virginia forever Wild.

I am a corporate pilot and have only great things to say about the vendors, the airport employees, and the facility itself. The line staff has always been very professional showing care for the customer and their aircraft. The staff at the office is always courteous and helpful. The National Rental Car affiliate goes the extra mile to assure that both the passenger and crew cars were clean, ready to go, and priced fairly. They do a great job particularly when you stay in contact if there are changes in your plans. They make all extra efforts to make rental painless and provide some local knowledge of restaurants and attractions not found in the brochures. The Airport staff and vendors serve the community well with introducing the traveler to the best that the area offers, its people. They try hard to deliver that not only are positive first impressions important, but that those positive thoughts continue during every visit thereafter. Clearly one of the best airports in the region.

We landed our Aztec there after doing some IFR currency. We enquired about the fuel price and was told $4.91. Blacksburg at the time was $3.55 and only 18 miles away. We said no thanks and were charged a $25 landing fee. The fee would be waived if we bought 50 gals of fuel. They have a restaurant but that $100 hamburger will cost a lot more in fees. Lewisburg used to be a great place to take a break. Old aviation photos on the wall in the terminal was a nice visit. Goodby old friend we won't be back.

WARNING.... Do not rent a car from National or Hertz at this airport. If you are early the car will not be ready.. or late by as little as 30 minutes the reservation will be canceled and your credit card charged $50.00. We are in contact with the WV attorney general's office about this racket here, as it has happened to us for the second time. Corporate crews...AVOID this airport! One of the biggest fee happy airports in the country.
