From Daniel Mosley on 24-Nov-2009: TERRIBLE! We arrived in a Husky and a SNJ-5. We were going to the Commemorative Air Force monthly meeting. The CAF ramp was full already. REESE (the airport manager) then greeted us over the radio that if we could not park on the CAF ramp, "that was not his problem", but we could NOT park on HIS ramp! I have NEVER been to an airport that I could not park on the PUBLIC ramp! He then sent a lineman over to tell us to move or leave. We asked Reese to come explain why. He would not come out of his office; instead, he called the POLICE to write us a ticket for parking at a PUBLIC AIRPORT! The police agreed with us, we COULD park on the public ramp. We WILL be going back, but WE WILL NOT spend a dime at the airport! I have also found out that this is not the first time that Reese has had problems with parking, especially war birds. I just hope the airport board realizes they have a problem with the airport manager before he discourages too many more people from coming to MBO!

From Lyle Prouse on 22-Nov-2008: I was at MBO on 11-21-08 on an Angel Flt and these folks are truly outstanding when it comes to providing an assist on the fuel for AF's. Some places almost begrudgingly offer a Scrooge-like discount.. And even those are truly appreciated!... But MBO clearly wants to help and does. So THANK YOU, Madison Air Center, for your willingness and great attitude! These flights are expensive for us volunteer AF pilots to do and your help was really meaningful.
From David Savage on 21-Sep-2008: This was a great fuel stop. Friendly folks with good service, crew car, and lots of places to eat very close to the field. I highly recommend this nice field
From Holton Hancock on 24-Jan-2008: Very good service! Did some IFR and VFR flights in this area and are open in a very reasonable time period. Not 1st class business service but very nice for my GA needs. Fuel prices very reasonable also.
From Randy Lam on 05-Aug-2007: Another great experience at MBO. No problems and very quick lineman there to guide you in. They provide very quick turns if need be.
