Stopped on a Sunday on our way back to Detroit area to clear customs. Detroit Metro, Lansing and MBS are the only airports with customs stationed on the field on weekends. Quick clearance by the customs officer was very easy. AvFlight was very helpful as well.

Our first trip to AvFlight everything was as expected great service good folks very helpful. They loaned us a crew car overnight because the hotel dropped the ball and would pick us up. On our second stay they got even better. Great folks Great service stop if you can!

Great friendly, prompt, professional service. Mentioned I was looking for coffee, they put on a fresh pot. They called for the hotel shuttle for us and when the hotel balked they put the crew car keys in my hand before I even knew what happened. No hassle no muss no fuss the line and desk crew just made it all happen seamlessly. Perfect customer service. Nice long runways, precision approaches.. I recommend this as a stop.

Flew in to KMBS on Friday, January 16, 2009 on a commercial training cross-country in a C-172RG. The heater wasn't working (OAT 5F) and the instructor needed to warm up before returning to KPTK. We were immediately and professionally marshaled and the lineman inquired about our gas or other needs. We didn't need gas, so we headed inside. Free coffee and hot cocoa, squeaky-clean rest rooms, and friendly staff who didn't mind our hanging out for a while to warm up and chew the fat. I felt genuinely guilty for not buying fuel, but I didn't have any real room in the tanks, having only flown an hour since fueling at KPTK. This was a solid stop with friendly and competent people at a really nice FBO at a fine airport. KMBS is a convenient distance for much of the flying that I'd need to do for my commercial certificate and I plan to make many a return trip to visit the AvFlight folks.

The freight run I was covering made stops at MBS twice a day for a week. Some of the best and fastest service I have had. Fuel trucks where always waiting when I pulled up. De-ice was done quickly and the way its supposed to be done. Staff was always friendly and quite entertaining. Made it a point to purchase all the fuel we needed here.

I arrived on a friday morning. The lads were very professional. My plane was placed in the hangar, the line guys thought there might be weather overnight. Saturday morning I arrived and they pulled it right out. There had been some hail in Michigan, I had no worries as it was inside. Front desk help was very helpful, and was willing to get us a rental as the courtesy car was out. We switched to a cab as we needed a drop off at the marina. Fuel as posted. I will return. I felt very secure around the line fellows here, the know their stuff. Thanks.

I stopped at MBS in a Skyhawk on my way to Montana from Boston. The FBO was terrific. The line guy was quick, friendly and helpful. Since heavy rains were forecast he put the plane in a hangar overnight. The lady at the desk was cheerful and friendly and arranged a great discount at a hotel plus shuttle service. MBS needs GA business and I'd encourage plenty.

We are a Citation II flight crew from La Crosse, WI who frequent the airport. Our turn-around are often quick as we drop of environmental clean-up crews, but AVFLIGHT Saginaw has done a great job meeting our needs for fuel and services. They have also worked a very reasonable landing fee agreement with us since we use the facilities twice a week. Recently, we have been treated to a hotdog, just off the grill, as is their tradition each year around the time of AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI. Line technicians always meet us to park and are quick to ask if they can help. Meteorlogix weather station is available as well as large TV and comfortable recliners... Very important to professional pilots! Thanks AVFLIGHT for the great service!

I was traveling with my family and when thunderstorms made it impossible to continue on our route we detoured to MBS for an overnight stay. I cannot say enough about the folks at AVFLIGHT. They arranged a discounted hotel room for us and gave us the courtesy car to use overnight until we could depart the next morning. The people were friendly and the airplane was ready to go sitting on the ramp when we got there. If you need to make a stop, Saginaw is a convenient location and the FBO is top notch.
