The Spinning Wheel as run by the Nolans is the very definition of "home away from home." Staying there is like visiting with fun family members whom you see only occasionally but whose company you thoroughly enjoy the whole time you are with them. If you like dogs, too, then you'll make a fast friend in "Chudley, " the three-legged chocolate lab who also calls this B&B home. Our room was immaculate, cozy and surprisingly quiet. Thom can tell you everything about everywhere locally and gives great recommendations for things to see and places to visit. (He's outstanding with breakfast, too.) Very good food is available at local eateries a short walk away (Stella's, etc.) and the standard chains (if you MUST have them) are not too far a drive. We stayed only two nights and now wish that we had stayed at The Spinning Wheel the whole time we were on the DelMarVa. If you fly into KMFV, we heartily recommend The Spinning Wheel.

A very nice B&B run by good people. Picked us up at MFV late at night -- much appreciated. We will be back. The town is quaint and has good restaurants and other things to do.

Charming host and hostess, excellent breakfast, lovely, comfortable home. Within easy walking distance of several restaurants and a very nice Irish pub. This is a good spot to spend a day or two.

Visited some friends at Chincoteague Island over the New Year weekend and at the last minute decided to fly vs. drive. The weather was great on the way down however a large front was moving in from the SW full of CB's and heavy rain so we decided to wait it out over night at the Spinning Wheel. It is a wonderful B&B and well worth the money. The Nolan's are a great family and were a pleasure to meet. There are plenty of eating establishments within walking distance and they will pick you up at the airport. I will be sure to stay again and perhaps even stay longer.
