Great place to stop! 24/7 credit card fuel pump and clean, well maintained facilities. Courtesy car available. Be sure to take time to check out historic Mineral Point, especially Pendarvis, and try the home cooked food out at the Pointer cafe!

This is a great airport. My wife and I are student pilots and are also building a hangar at KMRJ. Kevin King (airport manager) has been very helpful in getting us a hangar location. Our 46 J3 CUB will be ready for flight this spring and its new home. We are both looking forward to spending warm summer days at KMRJ with our new neighbors.

This is a response to Simon Holland's comments. The SS fuel pumps were working fine on Sunday. This is my local airport and I know the Iowa County Airport to be well managed and maintained. I hope that if you ever visit our area again you will give the airport another chance.

Airport deserted on Sunday, could not get the SS fuel pump to work....Could not walk out of the main gate......it only opens for cars...not people. Flew home.

Response from Kevin King, Iowa County Airport Manager
Our self serve/full service fueling system is modern and works very well, "always" has, just follow the step by step instructions and you will be a very satisfied customer. One common mistake some people make is turning on the pumps before their sale has been approved. We do have a courtesy car but if you go through the airport gate on foot just look for the signage that will indicate what button to push. Thank you!
