Very professional and classy FBO with generous prices for a class C airport. Amenities include several nice courtesy cars, a small pilot shop, and even an on-site restaurant. A great model for what an FBO should be.

Very nice FBO. The people were great and the fuel price was reasonable. No ramp fee but they do charge for overnight parking ($10).

If only all FBOs were like Wisconsin Aviation! Had to divert here for weather and everyone was great, especially the lineman who marshalled me to parking. Great facility, no ramp fee even though I did not buy any fuel. The Jet Room is a great place to eat too!

I had a mixed experience here, arriving Friday evening around 8:45 pm during Oshkosh. The place was severely understaffed and my Hertz rental car was missing. The clerk insisted that Hertz was out and Enterprise was bringing one. After 2 hours of reassurance (during which the clerk was in a never-ending frenzied rush--and now with all Madison restaurants closed--I called Hertz myself: they had plenty of cars. I cajoled another party into borrowing a crew car with me to actually go get a Hertz car from the terminal--but after a 10-hour trip to get to the busiest aircraft convention of the year, you have to wonder why only one overburdened employee was staffed on the Friday of Oshkosh. I was unimpressed and felt let down. That said, they changed the oil in my Cessna and were very fair about pricing and very attentive to the work. The "during the day" crowd on Sunday on departure was indeed as professional and attentive as I was lead to believe by other pilots in this forum.

Stopped here in my Baron to drop off my family while I went to Oshkosh. Super-nice folks and great service. Nice facility and cookies too. See you next year, thanks!

I stopped here yesterday for an update of my GPS and was very happy with the service and professional attitude. The line guy was on the way out before my prop stopped spinning. He directed me to the Avionics shop and had my plane towed there almost before I could walk the distance. Ryan in the shop promised 1 hour, and called to say it was done just as I finished breakfast. Excellent food at "The Jet Room"! Also, it was my first time into a class C airport, and the MSN controllers were very nice to deal with.

Wisconsin Aviation is top notch, friendly excellent resources, even a 2way radio in the flight planning room beautiful building, friendly staff - nice hours of operation worth the stop!

From Andrew Boardman on 26-May-2009
WA has line service that goes above and beyond the call of duty to get me going with engine problems on a holiday. AirNav is full of comments about great FBOs, but Wisconsin Aviation stands out as one of the very best. (Also: no ramp fees, great fuel prices, and $10/night parking for a piston single.)

I go out of my way to send them my business. It includes fuel, training, charter, maintenance and upgrades. The people are great to deal with and always fair. They want to keep you as a long-term customer and do not take shortcuts for a quick profit. In my opinion they set the standard for a full service FBO. My comments also include their Watertown operation.

The 172 and I didn't need anything special, but service was perfect and the staff was very pleasant. I don't think I've ever seen another FBO use a fueling mat to keep the wing clean quite like they did. Excellent service.

Nice FBO. Friendly people. Cookies.

Problems with FBO maintenance, Lost generator on way to OSH for the EAA Convention this year. Mechanics looked at same day and next day quoted 4 hours labor to repair. They were unable to complete repairs because no one in their organization knew how. Charged me 11.5 hours...., ripped off

From Paul Mandel on 02-Aug-2008
No one every want to be AOG, but on our way back from OSH we had to divert to MSN to check out an issue. What we thought was a dead plug turned out to be a little more extreme, but Wisconsin Air had a mechanic start within minutes of us landing and we were back in the air in just 3 hours. Great service, the bill was more than fair and the work was exceptional. Thanks to Martin, Jon and everyone else at Wisconsin Air for the truly exceptional service.

Probably my favorite FBO to fly to. Flew up there several times during the summer for time building just because of the A+ quality of the FBO. Always fresh coffee and cookies very clean restrooms and extremely kind staff. Line crew is willing to talk with you and have a true interest in aviation.

Visited 9/15/07 in a C152 and was not really overly impressed on this visit. No help parking or leaving. Friendly line-guys though, and a very nice facility. Will defiantly be back to Wisconsin Aviation!

Landed here on the way to Oshkosh - arrive at 6:30 pm with a rough running engine - their maintenance shop had it troubleshot and fixed within an hour (bad plug). Great service. Wonderful people. Mechanic named Matt was just outstanding - he even came in on his day off to help us with some minor things. Definitely an A+ place to stop. Great attitude of "we want to earn your business' - they definitely earned mine and I'll make a point of stopping here anytime I am in the area.

We stopped twice on our CA to NY trip. The first time was a quicky to get my son to the commercial terminal for his return to SandyEggo. I didn't need fuel but they schlepped him over there gratis. We stopped on the return leg for fuel and lunch. Nice folks, excellent restaurant. The breakfasts looked outstanding. It looked like a lot of locals stopped in for the food.

From Scott Winter on 22-Jan-2007
Wisconsin Aviation is a great stop. Have stopped here many times, even though it is close to home. If you ever need a diversion, bunk beds are attached to the pilot's lounge. Great layover for a long trip!
