Yet another unattended airport on a Sunday. There is supposed to be someone around during the weekdays to get fuel, but you may have to call even during the week. I would not recommend this as a fuel stop. They have a pay-phone and bathrooms. AWOS is a nice addition.

As I always do at smaller fields, I called ahead 2 days prior to arrival. I learned that CREDIT CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED!!! Make sure you have a check or cash, or the ability to obtain cash. Fuel is from a truck, be patient it takes some time to warm up. Make sure you sump after fueling. I don't think the truck moves that often. If you need Jet A you are out of luck. I found it somewhat frustrating, that it was difficult to locate someone to fuel us. Like I mentioned I had called, spoke with an individual concerning our arrival date & time, and that I would need fuel. Eventually, someone was found by simply wandering through unlocked hangars and buildings. The runway is in excellent shape and the AWOS is now published and working.
