Nice clean airport with 24 hour self serve fuel. Pump is easy to work and has ladder, chocks, etc available to use. It's at the far end of the ramp; look for the rotating beacon and BP sign. Seems deserted. Didn't try to go inside or find anyone though. Great stop if you just want to get in, get fuel, and get out. Really pretty country around there too.

It was a working gas pump, but no welcoming committee, that's for sure...Never made it into the facility. Never saw a human being anywhere in sight. But it was cheap gas...And it was fun to say "Ogallala" a few times on the CTAF.

I made an unplanned stop on Thursday August 10th, arriving around mid-day. The FBO looks like a corporate hangar and is not marked on the exterior in any way. It is located in the hangar at middle of the ramp. The place was deserted. Thankfully, the office was open. There is a computer weather system available and the TV is tuned to the Weather Channel. The self-serve fuel is as expensive as any you'll find anywhere in the region.

Gas was 50-75 cents more than all of the nearby airports with full service... And you have to pump it yourself. We were there from around 9:30-11:00 am on a Sunday and absolutely nobody else showed up. It is nice that you can get into the lounge/FBO and use the Internet by using the ground frequency as a combination.
