Compare the comments between other FBOs on the field and OJC. You'll notice that ~85% of OJC's comments are negative while ~95% of the others are positive. It has been my experience that the line guys are generally very nice and helpful, but if you dare venture toward the office, that is where trouble begins. OJC usually has good fuel prices (especially at the self-serve) but any oxygen is $50, air is $10 per tire, landing is $5 even if you buy fuel. You can get around the air and landing fees if you only deal with the line guys, they won't charge you if you buy fuel and if the office doesn't see your plane on their property. Maybe try one of the other two wonderful operations at the Ogden-Hinckley Airport.

I am surprised to read some of the below comments as I have been doing business with Ogden Jet Center for many years. The facilities are the best on the airport and the staff is friendly and efficient. I fly through Ogden several times a year and have used all FBOs on the airport, and none even compare to OJC.

You now know what most of the locals know. I have had friends fly in from other areas and always caution them about the unfriendly attitude and rip off prices charged by OJC for everything except fuel.

This is a bizarre place. Showed up about 10:00 at KOGD and, notwithstanding that Flight Guide says that both the airport and the Jet Center are 24 hours, there wasn't a soul in sight. Filled up at the self-serve pump (there's no callout number on the door or anywhere else we could find) and then waited nearly an hour for the cab. It turns out the driver (Yellow Cab, unfortunately the only game in town) got lost trying to find the airport -- which turns out to have been a nice prelude to his getting lost trying to find Hampton Inn. When we returned the next morning (perhaps not surprisingly after waiting an hour for the cab, only for him to get lost on the return trip), the place was locked up again. Someone finally showed up to sell us a sectional chart, but was otherwise completely non-helpful otherwise. In short, this is one of the oddest experiences I've ever had in general aviation. My wife tells me I can't say this place sucks, so I'll just say that I won't be back.

The gas is cheap at the Self Serve pump. We spent an hour at the jet center planning the next leg of our flight. This was a very weird experience. The facility is grand, very new. The briefing room is nice but the only computer is probably 10 years old with a dial-up connection and a monitor the size of an approach plate. The computer was even turned off. The most surprising thing is that we did not see anyone in the building for almost 45 min. On the way out, someone had showed up. Asked if they could sell me the local sectional. It took the guy 2 or 3 minutes to understand what I was asking and they did not have it in stock. Try the other FBO!
