What a dump. This is not an FBO unless that stands for foreign bought objectives. The fuel is SS so no help needed luckily, the rental car service is totally lost and as far as customer service this place has none. The tower operations are the only professionals on the field. Pass this place and go to Flagler to see how its done right.

I agree with the others, this is in very busy airspace, and it is very busy with flight training! Its highly recommended to be talking to a controller with flight following or IFR before nearing the overlying Daytona airspace, so they know you're coming. Otherwise you may not get a word in. Fuel price is downright amazing, $2.00 cheaper than many others, although DAB is a great deal too considering it is an "airline" airport. There is a small restaurant in the Flight Center FBO, but it’s not open all day. There is a golf club restaurant less than a 5-minute walk away, and they have pretty decent sandwiches. Make a right out of the Flight Center door, out the gate (use code 0911) and you will see the golf clubhouse across the parking lot.

Stopped by for fuel on January 22, 2009 on the way back from the Bahamas; excellent price at $2.68/gallon self-serve. A lot of traffic in the pattern because of the flight school there. Real pros in the tower. When on the ground you can sneak in the flight school offices and use the restrooms, thankfully. Coming in from the south is a handful because Daytona Beach airspace is practically overhanging Ormond Beach. Daytona approach provides the radar services for Ormond Beach. Very busy. Be ready.

One of the best cheap fuel stops on the Florida east coast. Very busy airport though... Don't expect much for facilities! The Ormond Flight Center (which is really a flight school for euros students)...had barely any facilities. No phone to call FSS, no pilot lounge, no computer. I had to go across the field to another school, just to use the phone & call FSS. The restaurant always seems to be closed??? The first time I went, the dispatch offered me salt!

Best fuel stop on the east coast...

Great fuel price, but don't plan to park. No parking spaces since early 2007 when they filled them with flight school planes.

Wow, what can I say other than this place know absolutely nothing about customer service and honoring their word? I called the day before to make sure that I would have a parking spot. The person on the phone assured me that I would have a spot at no charge as long as I purchased fuel. After landing, I stopped at the self-service fuel pump to fill up my C-320. After purchasing $200 of fuel I proceeded to go and park in one of the available tie downs. I was unable to push the aircraft all the way back into the spot because of its weight. I went inside to ask for some help. They said that they had no "spots" available and I would have to go somewhere else. I told them about the conversation I had the day before and all the fuel I purchased. "Sorry, move your plane" No help, no assistance, no service!!!!!!!!!!

Stopped at OMN for SS fuel about 8:30 PM. Self service easy to find and low priced. Pump worked well and fills quickly. Besides the usual self-service controls, there is a rotary knob near the hose reel that needed to be turned on before fuel would dispense. After fueling, I returned this knob to the off position, but then did not get a receipt. Probably my fault for touching too many knobs and buttons, maybe additional directions would help? FYI-no bathrooms at this facility. The floodlight needs a new bulb, had to fuel via the flashlight in the teeth method. At the great price, with 24-hour availability though, I'm not complaining. A+
